The Stratocats' sound covers classic rock, country, blues, and beyond...
The Stratocats can custom tailor their show to fit any venue. They have played weddings, reunions, birthday parties, private clubs, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, music festivals, colleges, corporate functions, and house parties. A full blown electric show or a more intimate acoustic performance will take you to a special place where you can forget your worries and boogie your blues away.
So I saw the "Stratocats" in Conyers Georgia on August 18th and they kicked ass. The singer has a fantastic voice and his telecaster really suits well with the music and sort of creates his own style. The guitarist rocked Red House with the help of the drummer and the bass player(Beefy tone btw). They transition flawlessly into songs and they have their own sort of style(Which you can really appreciate nowadays) The Vocalist provides great humor throughout songs noticeably on "Tribute" and they have great banter in-between songs. The Drummer is pretty damn good and you can really, well, Feel the energy he puts on the kit. The bass player of course, to the left side of the vocalist, keeps the rhythm going and never skips a beat. Overall great band and I really like the vocalists country esque voice and his Telecaster fits the vibe well. If you want a consistent band who can put on a show, the "Stratocats" are definitely the band you want to hire.

By blurring the lines between a cover band and an original act, the Stratocats have formed a unique bond with their fans. With influences ranging from hard hitting acts like the Allman Brothers Band and AC/DC to old school Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, as well as the more laidback styles of Eric Clapton and Jimmy Buffet, the Stratocats appeal to music lovers of all kind.
“...They create a wonderful and versatile sound, having mastered genres ranging from blues to classic rock to today's hits.” Laurel Smith, The Olde Town Times.
Brent Burch (guitar) and Keith Kiser (drums) formed the Stratocats in 1987 in Lithonia, Georgia. The band first starting rehearsing in the back of a “Box Truck” parked behind Keith's parents' Fish Market. After enlisting the services of Ron Benner (Dogwood Recording Studios) as manager, the band recorded its first demo tape at Ron's temporary studio at 2324 White Road in Conyers, Georgia. The house and barn where the band recorded would later become famous for sightings of The Virgin Mary by Conyers housewife Nancy Fowler. She claimed that the Virgin Mary appeared to her and relayed messages to all citizens of the United States.
From these humble beginnings, the band has gone on to tour the southeast for many years, performing as the opening act for the 60's band Spirit and jamming with members from the Ted Nugent Band along the way. In 1995, bassist Vernon Gibson joined the Stratocats and was followed in 2009 by guitarist / lead vocalist Sam Deal to complete the current lineup. The band's constant touring continues in 2015. The Stratocats are currently headquartered at Studio V in Conyers, Georgia.
