String Busters play their instruments – guitar, dobro, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin even suitcase percussion – with a high-energy style, blending their own arrangements and vocal harmonies into a captivating performance. They are happiest when their audience keeps the beat with their feet and has as much fun as the band.

We hired the Stringband for our wedding to play our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were so AMAZING. Will was so easy to work with and did so much to make our song requests happen. They made our ceremony and cocktail hour a dream.

String Busters - Here’s Our Story
String Busters has its roots in classic Americana and bluegrass, but beyond that the trio defies categorization, due to the eclectic musical backgrounds of its members. Their foot-stomping style and diversity in both instruments and material makes them unique among more traditional acoustic bands.
The band’s repertoire includes bluegrass standards, folk rock and their own arrangements of both well-known and re-discovered classics — from Bill Monroe and other bluegrass favorites to such diverse songwriters as Bob Dylan, the Beatles and Cole Porter— to name only a few. The band also incorporates original works by song-writing members.
The band members play their instruments – guitar, dobro, slide guitar, banjo, mandolin even suitcase percussion – with a high-energy style, blending their own arrangements and vocal harmonies into a captivating performance. Dan Bonis, vocals, banjo, mandolin, guitar, dobro and suitcase percussion
