The focus of the Empowering At-risk Males workshop is to raise awareness and teach tools to help identify harmful behavior and risky activities of at risk males. This workshop will teach of at-risk males how to be empowered.

The most difficult task facing parents, schools and the community in the United States is expanding our focus beyond intervention and prevention programs to conceptualizing and implementing empowerment processes for African American males.

This workshop focuses on a systematic approach to addressing the unique needs of African American males and their families, using strategies directed at closing the achievement gap and examining the mission of the schools itself, departments within the school, and the mission of the individuals involved (i.e. parents, teachers, coaches etc.).

Paul Garwood helps leaders individuals, parents and At-Risked children, through journey (life) coaching, speaking events, and writing, to overcome fears, pain, past and present obstacles & issues and move toward the life they were born to live. (Their potential, abilities, purpose, identity, proper self-assessments, etc.)

Paul Garwood is a Professional Speaker who started speaking at the age of 6 as a Youth Minister and strongly believes that Speaking and Coaching is what he was born to do.
