Substream

Our band consists of frontman/ lead guitarist Spencer Charlton who writes most of our music, bassist Brandon Johnson, drummer Kraig Durco, and rhythm guitarist Declan Mayo. We are high school students at Northern that met each other in a grade 10 guitar class. From there we formed the band Blind where we jammed in the music room at lunch then went on to play a few covers at the Northerns cafe night. Later on, we became more serious as a band and with our music. We also changed our name to Substream since Blind is already a skateboarding company. We then started writing a full setlist of original songs and practiced in Kraig's basement in suburban Bright's Grove. We played a few acoustic sets at the local bar Rondos and started to get noticed after we launched our band page. We now have gigs in London and Toronto and plan to keep moving forward as a band. We are a good group of guys and have a very flexible schedule. You can expect us to put on a great performance with our catchy songs and our a little weird yet entertaining personalities.
