With a violin performance bachelor degree, I am an experienced violinist who performs classical, jazz and popular music. I have been playing violin since I was 5 years old which gave me the opportunity to play in various orchestras and ensembles throughout my musical career. My performance experience includes wedding, events, movies, opera, and clubs. I enjoy playing all types of music from classical to traditional (African, Haitian, mariachi) to jazz and hip-hop. I offer solo violin music but can cater to whatever ensemble you desire including duos, quartets and bands. My main goal is to be at your service and make you feel confident in your event while you enjoy great music.

We had last minute and unexpected changes in our event that were beyond our control and Sue adapted and was so gracious with the mix up. Her talent is very evident and the songs I heard were both very timely and incredibly beautifully done. I would highly recommend Sue for any event a violinist is needed.

Sue was great to work with and had a very big range of music. We had modern, classics, and country on our playlist and she did a wonderful job making the playlist flow. I think it is helpful to have a call before hand just to make sure everything is set to go parking and setup wise. Lesson learned and we will be hiring Sue again for any future events we have in Scottsdale!

Sue is the best type of vendor you want working your wedding. She was there for me through changes and needs. She was communicative, patient and generous with her time, and made her part of my wedding smooth for me.
I planned a birthday dinner for my significant other. I flew out a private chef, and wanted to add a romantic element to our evening. I found Sue and requested her services. She had an engagement cancel and responded to my request immediately. Within less than 48hours Sue and I put together a playlist of romantic songs of Neo Soul and R&B classics and current music and created a magical birthday experience. Sue was early and helped me surprise him and even stayed beyond the time requested. She is a beautiful musical soul who’s not only talented in music but also a chemist scholar and speaks fluent French. Just a Renaissance Woman. Thank you Sue for an amazing mini concert. This was a milestone birthday for my wife. I flew a chef in from Chicago, as a surprise...flew in my wife's best friend, as a surprise. The biggest and best surprise was Sue. She learned and played all of my wife's favorite songs. Her personality was a perfect fit with us and our other guests.
We're planning on using her for another event before we leave Scottsdale, as well as flying her to our home in Indiana this summer for another event,

I would highly recommend Sue for your event. She contacted me and helped me pick out the songs for my wedding. If she didn't know the song, she will try to learn the song within 3 days. I was very impressed. I could only wish that I was a guest at my wedding ceremony to be able to hear how beautifully she played. While I only did get to her the music for about an hour after, my guests loved her! I would definitely book her again!

Sue was amazing! Our daughter was married this June and Sue played at the church and the reception. It was absolutely beautiful! During this pandemic the wedding was hard to plan, we had to keep it small and abide by the rules. However, to be able to have Sue play was a memory we all will Never forget! My Mom and Dad had big plans for their 50th anniversary, but everything got cancelled because of Covid-19. We couldn't be with them because of distance and restrictions.
So they planned a party anyway at home for the two of them. They dressed up and so did my nephew. My nephew, Justin got their take out dinner and was their waiter. Then Justin opened the back porch door and said introducing Sue Celestine your violinist for tonight!
Her violin filled the whole neighborhood with her angelic song! My parents were so surprised and speechless. The neighbors whistled and hollered peeping over the fence wanting to hear more. She captivated my parents ears and hearts. You will do well to hire this fine violinist.

Sue was amazing! Music is so important to me, especially violinists! Sue’s ability to play songs we chose, arrive promptly, figure herself out (I was busy as the mother of the bride) and set the tone for the ceremony was a blessing! I so appreciated her reaching out to me and asking what we wanted and working with me to get the perfect songs out together. PLUS, her violin skills are on point and she plays BEAUTIFULLY! She also is very reasonable with her pricing as others quotes were WAY higher!!!!! After requesting quotes, I was disappointed, knowing I didn’t want to spend as much as others were asking. I went to bed and didn’t think about it again. When I woke up and checked my email, and saw her pricing, I was elated and booked her!
