I am a singer-songwriter-folkie-song-leader-guitar-player. I believe in creating community through music. The songs that I write are in the new folk genre (Dar Williams, David Wilcox, etc). I have a warm alto and a warm personality as well. Looking for house concerts, coffee house type gigs.
We found Sue at the very last minute when we were looking for a local Maine-based singer songwriter to do a small set for an award show. Our audience consisted of women travel writers, content creators, and industry members of all ages (as many in their early 20s as in their early 70s).
Sue did an extraordinary job. She connected with the audience. She played songs that resonated with what we were doing (she actually sang one song about the writing process and of course we all identified with that!). She arrived early, communicated well, and was incredibly pleasant to work with. Plus, she has a beautiful voice and her original songs are fantastic. I hope all future artists we book are just like Sue! Thanks so much for giving us an extraordinary evening.
Response from Sue Horowitz:
