Sugarlump is a troubadour. He has an easy, friendly, humorous manner which is present in his stories and songs. Although Sugarlump is NOT a jukebox, he accesses a stockpile of covers and original songs that will entertain, amuse, and may even move you. If you like slide guitar, fingerpicking blues, and upbeat eclectic music sweeten your event by adding a Sugarlump.

Although Brent “Sugarlump” Applegath has been playing and singing for many years, his evolution into a full-time musician has been a journey. A lifetime of exploring multiple genres has lent “Sugarlump” a body of eclectic tunes. Inspired by the haunting sound of slide guitarists such as Ry Cooder, Mark Knoffler, Harry Manx, Lowell George, Keb Mo, and Johnny Winter, Brent has written and adapted songs to his unique bluesy style.
