One man... playing one saxophone... providing unmatched entertainment that full bands envy.
Armed with the latest in technology, SuperSaxy provides a full band solo sax act that covers an eclectic span of, really, any type of music you want to hear.
We hired Chris for a Love A Senior Day event in Pueblo, Co and again in Loveland, Co. Both times he was the talk of the show! Very professional and interactive with audiences of all ages!
Super Saxy exceeded our expectations and made our event super successful. Chris is not only an amazing saxophonist, but also very professional and courteous. The guests raved about his performance... we will definitely hire him again!
It was a great experience!
Response from SuperSaxy:
Thanks Arturo, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!
My wedding was on October 15, 2016 Chris gave me absolutely NO WORRIES everything came out as planned, and he made sure I was comfortable with his music. Id like to give a special thanks to him. Because he played my song "I will always love you" so beautifully as I walked down to my husband. Brought tears to our eyes. Chris you're amazing. Keep doing what you're doing and you are going places. Cheers to you! -Amanda Lozano
Response from SuperSaxy:
Thank you Amanda! It was so wonderful being a part of your special day.
Chris arrived early to coordinate with the readers that he was to accompany. He was super nice to our staff and accommodating to the novelist and translator. The crowd enjoyed the event and Chris really added to the evening. Definitely recommend!
Response from SuperSaxy:
Thanks again Becky! It was really cool playing with an author while he read from his book in French!!
We held an all day jazz festival to raise funds and, of the four bands, the Chris Hall Trio was by far the "swingingest" band there was. Really uptempo interpretations of some beebopin' jazz standards - very impressed. I can't wait to see them again!
Response from SuperSaxy:
Thanks David, we look forward to playing for you guys again!!

As an ambitious high schooler, Chris Hall (SuperSaxy) quickly discovered his talent for music becoming the first wind instrumentalist from his home town to ever make the All-State Symphony and All-State Bands. Still before leaving high school, Chris made the National Youth Choir and performed in Carnegie Hall.
Chris joined the US Army as a bandsman right out of school and played for many distinguished people including former President G. W. Bush. While in the Army Bands, Chris play with many of their groups and played many different instruments including clarinet, oboe, English horn, alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, keyboards, and fiddle. He also managed to achieve his certification in audio engineering and help establish the US Army Sound School.
After the Army, Chris followed his musical calling to Hope Lutheran Church in San Antonio where he was the music director and organist until he moved on to a career in software development.
While away from music for a few years, the saxophone came back into his life through a longing that directed him to (link hidden) who is currently his sponsor. Over the last few years, Chris has performed with many groups to include playing in The Rat Pack is Back show in Las Vegas and various groups in the San Antonio and Austin areas.
The nickname SuperSaxy originated during a few performances during San Antonio's Fiesta week where the lead singer would refer to his solos as being "super saxy." Around that same time, Chris was big into gaming and needed a screen name. So, SuperSaxy was born. While being unique and having a correlation to Superman, Chris designed the logo and from there he decided to adopt it as a stage name.
Can provide anything that a stage could need. If everything should be provided, minimal sound support is required but do require use of a wireless instrument microphone that will be provided.

Anything and everything. On the smooth jazz side, I have a lot of Kenny G, Dave Koz, David Sanborn, and the like but am not limited to these artist nor the genre of smooth jazz. Any song can be done. The more rare may be harder to pull off if time to prepare is not enough to find and produce but usually not the case.
Any and all. I love to play the things most people hear and say, "I've never heard that on a saxophone before."
