I've 25+ yrs of experience performing on my concert harp. Visit my website to click PLAYLIST for 100+ recordings, or VIDEO. I play a wide variety of pop tunes, including country! Please ask me :-)
As an award winning harpist, I performed 20 yrs in Seattle for events. Known as the "Airport Harpist" I played 12 hrs/day in the dining atrium. Returned to my TX roots, I look forward to playing here.
I'm a full-time musician. You & your event become VIP once booked. I have a quality BOSE system for a tasteful boost, if desired, while the ambient sound sits well under conversation. Outside, I provide floor and ceiling, if the locale requires, and a quiet generator, if remote, at no added cost.
Susan is an amazing musician with a wide and varied play list. I want to have a party just to have her back. Everyone at the party enjoyed her playing the harp. Can not recommend her highly enough.
Susan is an amazing harpist! There was no end to the complements for her beautiful playing at our wedding. Susan also did a wonderful job of capturing everything that we wanted played for our ceremony. We recommend her to everyone!
Susan is very talented, and residents loved her song selection. She was very easy to work with.
Response from Susan W. Haas, Harpist:
Carmen,
Thank you so much for your generous compliments. I truly enjoyed playing for your residents and guests. What a musically appreciative and knowledgeable gathering of fine people. I'm happy for you and your successful "milestone" celebration!
Please let me know if I can serve in any engagements in the future,
All my best, Susan
Susan was fantastic! It was the perfect accompaniment to a very nice evening.
Susan played her harp for our Advent by Candlelight evening and proved to be the perfect choice for the event. Her beautiful background music blended with the occasion of candlelight and desserts for our ladies. She also performed several pieces from her new Christmas CD which were a wonderful addition to our program. She is extremely easy to work with and is most willing to please.
I highly recommend Susan for your event or program.
Susan provided a lovely blend of music for our mother's Celebration of Life. It was enjoyed by all

If you would like amplification, I provide my BOSE L-1 Tower at no additional cost. I just need access to a 3 prong outlet. I bring all my own cords for my amp and have a built in pick-up or microphone inside the soundboard of my harp. If you prefer to use your own microphone that's fine, just provide a swing-arm mic stand for it and I'll help you get the best sound from my experience in sound management. If we are in a remote location, far from power, let me know and I provide my own power station. It is a quiet, small generator that can power up my BOSE or your preferred amp for about 4 hours, as well as providing power for other needs such as the officiant's, videographer's or photographer's battery charge. As much as we can discuss your needs and the venues provisions in advance, the better I am able to target the solutions in advance. I'm like a Girl Scout-- I come prepared for everything (almost!)
