We were in a pickle the day before our engagement party and within one hour of posting on GigSalad, Svetlana had reached out and helped us identify the right band size and music fit. We went from contacted to booked and delivered in under 24 hours which is quite remarkable! Svetlana is definitely an excellent coordinator!

The band themselves were wonderful. They arrived on time, looked good, set up quick, and played good music (the song I wanted several times as requested with a sweet nod to me when I was near haha). At the end of the night one of our guests asked if she could sing a song with them and they graciously obliged.

We hired a trio (guitar, bass, and drums) for a 35 person wedding party. The venue was small and intimate. When the band first arrived I was nervous the band may bee too loud, but this group knew exactly what they were doing and the volume control was superb. I highly recommend this band and I know I will be hiring them again for small events/parties in the future.

Svetlana, was so easy to talk to and all our converstions was via text. She took time to answer my questions about the contract. I wanted a 3 peice band and she took the time to explain what instruments would sound best together and they were amazing. Everyone loved them. She was accomodating when it came to my song request and paid attention to detail. This was my first time hiring a band and they were absolutely amazing. There is no need to go anywhere else they will be my go to band for my next event. I love this band.

I originally contracted with the band leader, Svetlana, for a private event with a swing dance theme. We agreed on a four-piece band and a swing dance instructor to get the party going. Svetlana became unavailable but stayed totally engaged. She arranged a very talented replacement singer named Sarah. All four members of the band were excellent, talented, and professional. Sarah was terrific, and the dance instructor, Rachel, was beautiful, talented, a great teacher with a sense of humor, and even dressed for the period. I would recommend Svetlana and her group for any event looking for excellent entertainment.

Great band

The first thing I did when planning our Fundraising Gala was seek out the band because I knew the exact vibe we needed. Svetlana and the Delancy Five exceeded my expectations and were the perfect fit. Working with Svetlana was terrific as she is a consummate professional -- I appreciated her deep knowledge of working events like ours including her suggestions and recommendations, and spending time with us before we hired her officially so she could get a fuller understanding of our needs.
