I love to perform any type of genre, but I’d have to say R&B/Soul is my favorite. Music is such a powerful thing that allows us to create a common ground and enjoy ourselves, and I’d love to help you at your event by singing and creating those special moments that you’ll remember forever!

Well, to be honest when people look at me they I am going to sing Taylor Swift or something. But, that's the opposite of what I do. I love the 'wow-factor' and the responses I get once I sing that first note. I think it's all about showing the crowd what you've got and having them enjoy themselves with some awesome music.
R&B/Soul artist, and singer-songwriter Sydney Franklin released her debut freshman EP Make It Hurt in February 2018, to widespread critical praise. The four track EP has racked up well over 1 Mill. Spotify streams to date, and the title track, along with the Mac Ayres duet "Forever" are currently in rotation on SiriusXM's Heart & Soul station. Franklin's songwriting encompasses the raw, emotional stories of a woman scorned but with a twist of female empowerment vs. the vulnerable angle often times heard in today's pop tracks. Her five-octave vocal range has captivated audiences throughout the U.S., having recently performed at the Xfinity x Sofar Sounds showcase - hand-picked by Dinah Jane (Fifth Harmony) - along with opening for the likes of OSHUN, Bailen, and Meg Mac. Franklin made her debut appearance at the 2018 SXSW Conference & Festival, and received Honorable Mention recognition from the 2018 Unsigned Only Music Competition for "Make It Hurt," in the Vocal Performance Category.
Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston are a huge influences, and have been for as long as I can remember. Also, growing up my mom would play a lot of Mary J. Blige tunes and my dad would play a lot of classic rock bands. Bands like Led Zeppelin, RUSH, Rolling Stones and rock artists like Pat Benatar, Billy Joel, Elton John etc. Those are definitely some of my influences. But todays artists that I love are Tori Kelly, Beyonce, Jessie J,Jazmine Sullivan and Alicia Keys. The reason I love all these artist are because they all have such raw talents. The voice is the most raw instrument there is. It's within you, and all these artists/singers are unbelievably talened whether you here them on stage or on a studio recording.
