I do Idol performances (singing and dancing performances to either Kpop, my originals, Britney Spears, etc.). I also play guitar and sing to rock (Sublime, Sugar Ray, Good Charlotte, Fallout Boy, Jpop, my originals, etc.)
My dream is to sing and dance and play guitar on stage to my own dance pop and rock songs! Think of me as an idol/rocker!

Have you ever seen a kpop performance? If you haven't, kpop is all about singing and dancing at the same time. It is super interesting to watch and even more fun to perform. That is just one thing you would get from me. I also love bringing out my electric guitar and jamming to tracks of covers or my originals. I tend to bring a lot of energy to an event, so if you have an energetic audience you want to entertain, then I'm the girl for you! You are also welcome to request just the idol side of me or the rock side of me. Normally I offer both, but it's up to you!
My name is Sydney! I dream of becoming an idol/rockstar. I have two great loves: kpop and rock. I wanted to somehow be able to encompass both sides as an artist, so I decided to brand myself as a dual artist! I have performed a few shows where I switch back and forth between dancing and singing to covers and originals and then singing and playing guitar (electric guitar to a track) to originals or covers. I have a big passion for anime and kpop. I feel this is important to mention because if you are into that kind of thing, then I am perfect for you! I am even learning Japanese and have already written some originals in Japanese! Looking forward to working with you! がんばって!
As I tend to sing and dance primarily for my shows, it is important that I have plenty of space to move around in. I also need an outlet for my equipment (like my speaker, mic, and amp). If you are able to provide a PA system, I would gratefully use that!
"Dumb Dumb" by Somi (Kpop: dancing and singing)
"The Anthem" by Good Charlotte (singing and guitar)
XG Mashup (Kpop: singing and dancing: I find that dance performances work best with mashups)
Garnidelia Mashup (Jpop: singing and dancing)
Britney Spears Mashup (singing and dancing)
"Sugar We're Goin Down" (singing and guitar)
"Blue Bird" (Jpop: singing and guitar)
Anime Mashup (singing and guitar)
Kpop Mashup (singing and dancing)
Originals (singing and dancing or singing and guitar)
*I tend to make different set lists for different shows since I have been playing in areas where a lot of the same people come to see me. I have many more songs locked and loaded and am up for learning whatever is necessary!
I'm sure by now, you have gathered my biggest influences are Kpop and rock. I really love the perfoance style of Kpop and I love the sound of rock. I also try to model my career structure after Kpop because they are really good at marketing. When writing dance pop (because I make originals that are either dance pop or rock), there are many Kpop groups I take inspiration from. For rock, my inspirations are early 2000's American Pop Punk and Jpop.
