Symmie came and delivered one of those truly laugh-out-loud performances for our church anniversary celebration. She had everyone engaged and wiping their eyes from laughter. It’s been almost a year since the event and my kids still try and reenact parts of her performance that we all find hilarious. Very professional, prepared, and a pleasure to work with; Symmie is a must-see for the entire family!!

I recently hired Symmie for a Photo Shoot for my Boutique. She is multi-talented and capable of many acts of performance. I hired her not just for her beauty but I knew she would keep the shoot fun and lively with her disposition and jokes. I wanted a fun experience with everyone there and knew that Symmie would keep us laughing even if the shoot was not working as planned. The last thing i wanted was Diva drama. she was professional and funny. The shoot went without a hitch and everyone had a blast.
I've hired symmie to everything from church events to my business mixers and even my cousins private birthday party and she rises to the occasion every time. She always surprises me and gives me much more than I expected...

Symmie Mitchell was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the oldest of four and comes from a family of natural comedians. Symmie has been active in both the local circuit and Christian community. She creates a crowd bursting with howls and laughter wherever she goes. In high school she was voted class clown and as an adult has continued to keep people smiling.
In 2001 she created her gut busting character Grandma Gertrude and performed at the Fiesta Hotel & Casino. Life offers an array of emotions...and not all of it is funny. During the hard times Symmie has learned to look throught the lenses of humor to find light.
Symmie specializes in stand up and improvisation, and has hosted numerous events in an array of venues. Her character performances include Grandma Gertrude, Deacon Goodfoot and her newest addition is Sista So Fine.
