When audiences come to see me perform, they experience a high-energy, crowd-responsive set that seamlessly blends genres, keeps the floor packed, and builds momentum with each track. For clients, I bring a polished, adaptable service focused on reading the room and tailoring the music to the event’s vibe, whether it’s an upbeat corporate gathering, a laid-back lounge, or an wedding nightlife scene. I handle all setup, sound checks, and coordination details, ensuring smooth execution so clients can relax and enjoy a seamless, engaging musical experience that matches their vision.

I’m Samar, an open-format DJ and software development student based in Canada with many years of experience in tech and creative arts. My DJ sets span diverse genres—hip-hop, pop, Bollywood, Punjabi/Urban Punjabi, throwbacks—creating dynamic, memorable atmospheres for events. Alongside DJing, I’m passionate about storytelling and community-building, actively contributing to volunteer initiatives and building connections through music and tech. For my DJ performances, here’s the technical breakdown:
- Sound: I require a quality sound system with at least two PA speakers, a subwoofer if possible.
- Lighting: While I can perform without lighting, a standard setup with LED lights or moving heads enhances the experience, especially for nightlife or high-energy events (optional).
- Staging: I need a stable, secure setup area with enough space for my DJ equipment. For outdoor events, cover/shade is preferred to protect gear.
-Power: Access to two standard power outlets within 10 feet of the setup area is necessary.
- Setup/Teardown: I typically need 15-20 minutes for setup and sound checks and about the same for teardown after the event.
