Three remarkably accomplished young musicians come together in T’Monde, the Acadian phenomenon that Offbeat Magazine has called “a creative fusion of classic country and out-of-the-way Cajun.” With a combined 10 GRAMMY nominations between members Drew Simon, Megan Brown, and Kellii Jones, T’Monde brings influences ranging from early Country music to ancient French and Creole ballads to present day Cajun music. Born out of friendship and a shared love for the music, T’Monde has developed a unique sound that is unmatched in Cajun music today. With their latest album, “ Yesterday’s Gone”, the band showcases their influences and musicanship which makes their sound so special.

T' Monde is a fantastic band that I have contracted with on two previous occasions to play at our private parties. They are out of Lafayette, LA and play classic Cajun French Music. All three band members are very accomplished musicians and alternate / share vocals. I contracted directly with Drew and found him to be very professional and polite. All three are very friendly and interacted pleasantly with our guests. I highly recommend T' Monde, whether you hire them for your event or just go check them out at their next venue!

This fantastic band has played two years in a row for our Cajun Easter egg hunt and crawfish boil. Each year our guests ask us to have them again. They are wonderful and bring the best of Cajun music to any event.

It's hard to find a group that does traditional Cajun music and speaks French. They were absolutely fabulous. I had listened to some of their music online before booking. To my amazement as well as those attending they were much better live. I'm very pleased with their performance. Now I just need a reason to celebrate and throw another party! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

About
T' Monde, meaning "little world" or "little people”, began playing together in early 2011. Members Drew Simon, Megan Brown, and Kelli Jones-Savoy are seasoned musicians and have played with many renowned Cajun bands including the Pine Leaf Boys, the Savoy Family band, Walter Mouton and the Scott Playboys, the Magnolia Sisters, and Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys just to name a few. Steeped in traditionalism, T'Monde plays old fashioned Cajun music ranging from the early 1900's to present day. All three musicians are talented singers, having their own distinct sound that makes the band very unique and special to see. Influenced by many different styles of folk music, T' Monde brings you rocking two steps, beautiful harmonies, sorrowful waltzes, and heartfelt blues. Our debut album, “Making Believe” is a fine example of the band’s special dynamic of different musical styles, soulful singing, and musicianship that makes the band fun to watch and listen to.
