Felix Mills: Tasteful Percussionist

BIO:
By age 14, Felix was a member and founder of several bands and was accepted to Etobicoke School of
the Arts as a music major. Through his high school years Felix started to earn his stripes in Toronto’s
music scene, finding and creating any chance to perform. He hasn't looked back.
Completing a Bachelor of Music Degree at Humber College, Felix studied everything from Jazz drummingto Cuban percussion to advanced recording and studio production techniques.
With diverse touring, performance, and recording experience, Felix's current work includes playing and
recording drum set with electronic dream-pop band, MUNE, signed to Culvert Music and playing
percussion with unique Word-Folk act Kitchen Orkestra. Felix has toured with acts such as Montreal’s
Look Vibrant, and performed at festival such as Pop Montreal, Hillside Festival, SappyFest, FME Festival, NXNE, CMW, and IndieWeek Canada.

APPROACH:
“I approach every project mindfully and commit specifically to every song and every moment: whether
it's grooving hard, laying back, composing drum/ percussion soundscapes, providing subtle textures,
playing alongside electronic beats, and everything in between. I put passion and love into music of all
genres and enjoy contributing intelligently to any musical experience. I always show up prepared but
with a natural ability to create and learn new things as well "
