We learned that Tatev was not only classically trained but had toured with Foreigner (one of my fav rock bands) and as seen in one of her videos was clearly able to improvise and follow whatever was put out there. I asked if she could join us our Thanksgiving afternoon, and maybe, if possible, the ‘big ask’ was to lead our little band of family musicians to join in with whatever they wanted to play. I asked if she was comfortable playing with someone without practicing first and she said “of course”.
She gave one of the guitarist an easy chord progression and as he strummed her violin played Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Hallelujah was sang to guitar and violin. Another guitarist string tapped August Rush as Tatev magically and flawlessly improvised a harmony, as if they’d practiced it 100 times. The bass chords and rhythm to Despacito was strummed while the violin’s melody brought smiles. This went on and on, our Thanksgiving family & friends concert made possible by Tatev. And then there was the music we had never had the opportunity to hear played live before, like Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik serenade which she played from memory!

I will perform the pre-arranged repertoire listed in the “set-list” section (you can choose any). If desired, I can prepare any additional songs, provided they are requested at least 2-7 days prior to the event.
I have a wireless microphone for my violin, so there won’t be any unnecessary cables or clutter during the performance — just me and my violin! This allows me to move freely around the space without being tied to a specific place. My equipment includes: a violin wireless microphone, a speaker (amplifier) and a music stand with an iPad.
I’m also happy to accommodate any dress code requests to ensure the best match with your event/wedding’s color scheme.
Additional time, if needed, can be arranged upon agreement.

My education includes college (graduated in 2018) and conservatory (graduated in 2023) in St. Petersburg, Russia. I have professional experience working at the Mariinsky Theatre (from 2021 to 2023).
I held a leading position in the Britten-Shostakovich Orchestra during its tour in the United Kingdom in September 2019. I have also performed multiple times in Germany and the Baltic countries as part of an orchestra. In July 2019, I participated as a violinist in a tour with the American rock band Foreigner.
In addition to playing the violin, I play the piano, write arrangements, and am skilled in improvisation.
I have extensive experience performing solo and in a quartet at events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate parties in top-tier hotels. I have also shared the stage with Russian pop stars as part of an orchestra and have appeared in music videos.
Since April 2024, I have been living in the United States, currently in Florida, and I am open to any collaboration opportunities!
