If you book Taxi Driver, you will receive a fun, interactive show with a large variety of music and genres EVERY TIME. In a four-hour show, we play 60 songs and we mix it up so no show is ever the same. Our goal is to pack the dance floor from the first song until the last. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and our customers and the audience is our #1 priority.

We provide a wide variety of music all night appealing to ALL ages groups. We don't use a specific song list. We adjust on the fly depending on what your guests are responding to, and we provide a large variety all night long. We interact with the crowd and truly make it a party for EVERYONE. We help you with the coordination before and during the event. All you need to do that night is relax and have a blast!

We can book and coordinate your ceremony music to include professional classical and acoustic musicians and singer(s); For the reception, musicians for cocktail and dinner music to include standard, swing, jazz, Caribbean, and Latin musicians; and of course, Taxi Driver for the dance!
ALL of the musicians we work with are some of the best, most experienced professional musicians in town!
If you desire, we can book a DJ from Master DJs, the #1 DJ company in Nebraska for cocktail, dinner music, and band breaks to keep the dance floor hopping!

We can also provide TWO professional photographers for your ceremony AND reception

Taxi Driver is a popular variety band from Omaha, formed in 1991 and fronted by two female singers. We are a 6-piece regional cover band performing more than 80 shows a year in a large variety of venues. From bars, to weddings, corporate parties, and street dances, we provide a show and span every decade of music from the 50's to today.

Taxi Driver is proud to have one of the largest varieties of songs including Oldies, Motown, Classic & Modern Rock, Country (new & old), Dance & Current Hits. Our members include Al Irions, manager & keyboard player; Michelle Irions, manager & lead singer; Sarah Girres, lead singer; Miles Loretta, drummer, vocals; Mike Turner, guitar, vocals; Glen Smith, bass player, vocals.

All members of Taxi Driver are accomplished, professional musicians with long-standing records of experience (live and studio) to their credit.

By continuing to put on great shows, Taxi Driver has been nominated for "Best Cover Band" for the prestigious Omaha Entertainment Awards in 2008, 2009, 2013, & 2015.

Taxi Driver originated in 1991 and has become a favorite staple in Nebraska and Iowa. We are a female-fronted band with interactive stage presence, and strong, solid harmonies. We specialize in larger events such as corporate/holiday parties, weddings, street dances, state fairs and more; even opening for national acts such as Tim McGraw, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sawyer Brown, Doobie Brothers, The Monkees and BTO, to name a few.

We play everything live....no tracks! We do not use pre-determined song lists during our shows. Each show is customized to the audience and age group that is there with little to no time between songs, keeping YOU on the dance floor!
