This is the second time we have hired Taylor for a party. He is so incredibly talented, professional, kind, and easy to work with. He has even learned songs ahead of our parties at our request. We can’t wait to hire Taylor again!

A surprise backyard bday gathering of 30 that resulted in good times with the fabulous extra touch of Taylor singing and playing his guitar. Everyone in attendance commented on how great he was. (We had an eclectic group of music listeners too.) Easy breezy mix of sounds and lyrics that set the tone for dancing, singing along or just great music to listen to while we celebrated. Worth the price of admission! We are fans.

my Husband and I got married two weeks ago and we had Taylor play music for our ceremony. It was hands down one of the best decisions. Taylor’s voice and guitar skills are incredible.. we were all blown away by his talent. He helped us make our ceremony a little more personal and romantic. Taylor is very easygoing and adaptable. From the beginning he sent us a list of songs he does but told us to send him any requests and he will learn them (Whixh he did and it rocked). My husband and I found Taylor on Gigsalad in the early stages of planning. While hunting for a venue, we visited several wineries with regular acoustic music and always loved the ambiance and tone it sets for the scene. We wanted a DJ for the reception, but still wanted to add a live, acoustic element to the day. We explored our options, and Taylor's videos, description, and reviews immediately sold us. After meeting with him in person, we sent him our deposit soon after to play our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance.

In the months leading up to our event, Taylor provided great suggestions for each part of our event. When we were deciding on a first dance song, he quickly sent us a demo of a song we were considering to help us make our decision. Once we decided on some must-have songs (only 3- processional, recessional, and first dance), we sent him the artists and titles, as well as a few spotify playlists to other music we liked for potential cocktail songs, and he took it from there.

Even in the chaos of the day, I remember how incredible he sounded on my way up the aisle, on the way back down, through our family photos during cocktail hour, and through our first dance. We can't count how many guests asked for his name and raved about his sound. Several guests said they felt like they were at a concert during our first dance, and felt themselves shifting attention between his performance and the newlyweds, which was the exact environment we were after. In short, Taylor was incredible. He can take any song you're after and put his acoustic spin on it, and his endless mental magazine of music adapted to the scene and the crowd, which was perfect for guests ranging from age 21-81. My only regret is taking pictures during cocktail hour because we missed half of his performance. Thank you, Taylor!

Taylor was professional, responsive, extremely talented, and truly made our party something special. He was attentive to the preferences of our guests (including throwing in the A-B-Cs for my 3 year old daughter), and was flexible to meet the needs of the event. I would hire him for any event I have, big or small, without any reservations.

Taylor provided music for an interactive beer & brunch event, he was given little direction on the song selection but read the setting and provided the perfect accompaniment. He was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. Several guests wanted to know where they could find more of his music. I would be happy to work with him again and recommend him to others.

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better performer other than Taylor himself. Definitely a great guy with great character to start off with. He was also able to accommodate special song requests without hesitation. He performed Train-Marry Me for our processional song (he definitely made some people in the crowd teary eyed), recessional song was Ben Rector - brand new (that he learned day of, and it sounded amazing). He performed during cocktail hour as well as our first dance and mother/son dance. I believe he tours with O.A.R which says a lot about his talent. He's worth every penny in my opinion. Hired Taylor to provide entertainment for a varied crowd of 3 generations. He had something for everyone including some of his own very cool renditions of popular songs. Party was on a Sunday evening, but everyone stayed to hear the music and enjoy the vibe. Taylor was the perfect choice for our event, was flexible and easing to work with.

Taylor really created an awesome holiday party. He tailored his music selection to our guests and everyone had a fantastic evening. He was great to work with! I highly recommend him for any of your music needs.

Wow! Taylor not only sounded amazing at our wedding ceremony and reception, he was also a true professional in every sense of the word. He gave us great ideas for music and didn't flinch when we asked if he could do a song he had never heard before- and he made it sound better than the original. He was very good at listening to us to understand our vision for the wedding and adapting his style to meet our goals (30 people outdoor wedding and small reception). We had a good idea of his style from listening online but were blown away with the quality and talent this guy has- we asked him to play a mix of various styles and cover songs and he hit it out of the park. Another bonus was he was very good at knowing our audience and playing to what they wanted to hear ( kids were making requests). I don't ever write reviews but this guy is just too good, we lucked out by going with Taylor. Everyone had a blast!

I was so pleased to be able to have Taylor Carson play at my husband's 40th birthday party. We wanted more than just background music- we wanted a PARTY, which is hard to make happen with a 60-person private event. When Taylor started to play, you could see the people start to liven up... by the time he was in full swing my friends were dancing, singing with him, and fully enjoying the night! He was VERY interactive, allowing the group to pick songs, sing with him, and he even made up lyrics with the "help" of the audience. Everyone kept commenting about how awesome he was- talented as a musician, but even more so as an ENTERTAINER. We would book him again in a heartbeat, but I suspect he's going to be taking off to much bigger places in his career. Five stars and then some. I can't thank him enough for making the night special- best money I spent on the party.

Taylor played incredibly, selecting music that appealed to a widely varied crowd of over 150 people. Out fundraiser for Teal It's Gone (to raise awareness for genetic testing to prevent cancer) was a huge success in large part to Taylor and his generosity. Taylor performed our ceremony music and first dance song. We first heard him at a Bethesda row festival and thought he would be perfect for us! We were a little picky on our music and he was extremely flexible. He was easily one of our favorite parts of our wedding even though it was just a short part. The reditions of the songs he performed were incredible. There aren't enough good things I could say about Taylor and his performance.

Taylor was the perfect musician to have sing and play his guitar during our son's engagement party. We had around 120 people and everyone I talked to raved about how great Taylor was that evening. It was a laid back party on our deck,yard and in the house and the music Taylor played set a wonderful tone to the evening. Later in the night we sat out on the deck singing along with him songs that we loved. I would highly recommend him for any event you are hosting and I will definitely use him again in the future! I was lucky enough to see Taylor perform at my friend's 4th of July party. Their patio became a dance floor and I became a huge fan. I hired/begged him on the spot to play for our wedding weekend welcome reception in early September. Having Taylor there made the night even more special. He has an amazing voice and knows his crowd. He can play any song and will not disappoint. He is also incredibly nice, professional and easy to work with. I'm trying to find another reason to have a party so that he can perform again.

Taylor was the first vendor we selected for our June 2016 wedding. The first day we heard his voice, it was a done deal! Working with Taylor to coordinate the logistics of performing at our wedding ceremony - from his availability and equipment needs to song selections - was effortless. His voice brought me to tears the first time I heard it and again on my wedding day!!

Very lucky to have found Taylor on Gigsalad for our recent house party over July 4th weekend! He's extremely talented. Played all top pop covers for our friends in their 30s/40s. We couldn't get enough - ended up extending him until he practically couldn't sing anymore :) On top of that, he's very responsive to all communications and pleasant to work with. We will definitely invite him back for future events.

My daughter got married on June 11th, Taylor sang for the wedding and she had a specific song in mind for their first dance, he learned the song, played it and sang it, absolutely beautiful. People stayed in the Chapel after the service to hear his entire song to the end for the recession. He is amazing, I would hire him again, not just for a wedding his voice is soulful vocal. Besides the Bride & Groom he was the highlight of the wedding. I will follow him and keep up, I did purchase albums of his and I listen to him often while I am driving. Take a listen on YouTube my favorite song is "Waiting For Me", I am sure I have listened to it so much I know all the words.

Taylor performed at my son's wedding during the cocktail hour. He was fantastic. Made the Reception a little extra special. My son and duaghter in law picked the songs they wanted him to play and he did so beautifully.

Had a housewarming party and Taylor did a great job! I had a number of different age groups at the party and Taylor was able to accommodate a huge variety of music requests -- Beatles to Ryan Adams to Taylor Swift and much more. My guests thought he was the best part of the party. I definitely plan to use Taylor for future parties - he is a very talented and professional artist.

I contacted Taylor just about a week before the wedding. Our wedding was kinda planned all in about a month and when Taylor accommodated us and agreed to be a part of our small but cozy wedding party, I was more than relived and happy. He was just everything and more that we imagined and ended up fitting perfectly in our plans for a low key, intimate and stress less wedding. We invited Taylor Carson to our Persian new year celebration and my sister visiting from California. His wonderful voice and songs were enjoyed by us all. Working with Taylor for my ceremony music was one of the easiest parts of my planning. Taylor Carson's persona coupled with his music is an experience not to be missed. He played background music both original and cover that impinged upon the memories of all who attended. It was exciting to hear him in person and meet the man behind the music. You feel your with an old friend when he is in the room. We will be back in Annapolis aagin next year and I hope he is willing and able to come back and entertain us once again.

We had a very specific song that we were hoping a guitarist could play for our wedding as we walked down the aisle. Not only did Taylor master it, but he also took the time to learn about 8 other songs for our pre-ceremony and did a fantastic job with them.

He offered to meet us in person in the months leading up to our big day, took the time to send us samples of the stuff he was working on beforehand, and was just a super calming and wonderful presence at our wedding. He set a beautiful, joyous mood, and was a really great guy to work with.

Can't say I hope to ever get married again... but I'd re-book Taylor in a heartbeat :-)

Taylor was incredibly professional, flexible, and an excellent singer/musician. I surprised my (now) fiancée with a wedding proposal on the pier in Old Town and asked Taylor to play one of our favorite songs. He was enthusiastic and quick to provide a demo beforehand. We really enjoyed working with Taylor for our wedding ceremony. I gave him a few specific songs to play for the processional/recessional and a range of other songs for the cocktail hour. All of them sounded great and we got a lot of compliments from our guests on the music. He provided us demos of certain special songs (like the bride's entrance, which was my favorite), and that really helped us feel comfortable with what we had chosen. Overall, a great experience.

When I first began searching for entertainment for our Beer on the Beach event, I was a bit skeptical that I would be receiving quality quotes. But, Taylor Carson below my audience away! He was very prompt and had a quick set up. He was a really genuine artist and had a large variety of covers as well as some awesome originals. Taylor performed for my sister's surprise 40th Birthday party. He made the party! From the moment I contacted him, he was responsive and professional. He went out of his way to learn some of my sister's favorite songs -- including the song that was her and her husband's first dance.
At the beginning of the party (which was outside under a tent) it started pouring but Taylor handled it so well and just quickly shifted inside the tent and kept on playing.
We had age groups from 5 years old to 75 years young and everyone enjoyed his music. We had people dancing and those that just wanted to listen to great music -- everyone loved every minute. All the guests raved about how great he was and how he made the party.
My sister even realized she had 2 of his CDs already since she had heard him perform before and loved it.
All in all, the party was a success in large part because of Taylor. I can't think him enough for his flexibility, his professionalism and for providing the best time for our guests.... even in the rain!

Taylor recently performed for an employee function we had. We had a lot going on and Taylor was extremely accommodating and even helped facilitate some of the activities we had planned. We thoroughly enjoyed having Taylor perform the music for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Throughout the whole process, from initial contact through the event, Taylor was very professional and was the most responsive out of all of our vendors. His talent is truly remarkable and I received many compliments on his performance. I can't say enough good things about this guy. I planned my wedding in less than 2 months, so Taylor didn't have much time to get prepared, but he was so incredibly nice, and never hesitated with anything I asked him to do. HOLY cow, I was stunned, I literally started crying because the song had so much meaning to my husband and I, and because he sang it even better than the singer. Now- to the wedding. He MADE my ceremony. We go to country concerts all the time, and he was just as good as big time artists we see in concert. Our wedding was 3 weeks ago, and one of my husbands teammates just texted him this morning, "wow, I still can't believe how amazing your guitarist/singer was". I also had no budget planning my wedding, so I was free to get whoever I wanted. When I heard Taylor's music online, I contacted him through every social network because I knew how special his voice was, and exactly what I wanted. When he emailed me his pricing, I couldn't believe it. (Taylor- you should raise your prices, haha(:) Anyways- his friendliness, and professionalism was also pretty amazing!!! He made my ceremony so beautiful, and memorized all the songs I gave him, with no complaint. I couldn't recommend him more, and I sincerely think he is the best out there, and hope he makes it big, because he's AWESOME!!!

Where can I start? Well I guess from the beginning. I was skating life easy while the (now) wife and her mom were planning out the wedding, and I got the bombshell.

Find music.

I have no idea what happened, maybe stars, planets, or just dumb luck; but I discovered this guy. His sound was exactly what I wanted. Now before my wedding we worked things out fantastically, songs to play, what to do, and everything went from there.

However I did mess up. I forgot to give Taylor the address where everything was taking place......UGH! However this guy, this AWESOME guy, took it on himself to find out where the hell I was, and actually contacted me at my in laws house to find out where the hell the event was going on.

Dedication is on point!!!

I personally loved everything he played, and I had almost everyone at the wedding compliment about the music. Taylor is awesome, and more than amazing.

I would get divorced, and remarry my wife just to have Taylor play for us again.

Taylor played at my promotion party. He was exceptional. He was very eager and responsive when I booked him. It was super easy. I asked for a combination of jack Johnson, James Taylor, bob Marley and Eddie vetter. He did Clapton and his original music as well. I cannot say enough about Taylor. He is very professional. He did not stop playing for three straight hours. His voice is amazing and he played all of these musicians songs perfectly. My guests were extremely happy. We had friends and corporate executives ranging from 25-55. Everyone loved Taylor. He has the acoustic guitar perfected. Thank you Taylor for making my event so special.

There are really no words to describe how incredibly blessed Mike and I are to have had the privilege to work with Taylor for our wedding. His voice is magical and was the perfect complement to our outside ceremony. He sang our first dance song "marry me" by train and I kid you not he sang it so much better than the original. I don't even know where to start - Taylor and his music were wonderful entertainment for our house party. He was kind, engaging, professional and his music was fantastic - and he truly made our party. Every single party guest raved about him. I would absolutely 100% recommend him - we can't wait to have him again!

We booked Taylor for our company Holiday Party at the very last minute after the entertainment we originally booked fell through. Taylor was perfect for the event. I was actually glad that the original act didn't work out because Taylor was a much better performer. Taylor picked the set list and played a great mix of original songs and covers. His acoustic style was perfect for our winery event. He was also extremely adaptable playing through and around different announcements and group activities throughout the party. We got more complements by our employees than any other event that we have had as a company. I highly recommend Taylor...he was awesome!!!

I can't say enough great things about Taylor. He played for us at an outdoor party at our house for about 80 people. He was fantastic - his music (he played both his own music and other stuff we requested) set the perfect tone and made the party really special. He kept the crowd entertained for hours and everyone raved about him. He was also a great sport and so easy to have around. We are definitely going to be hiring Taylor again - you should too (as long as it's not when we need him!!). :)

We are still not sure how we were lucky enough to score Taylor Carson to perform at our wedding ceremony. In addition to being to being amazingly talented, Taylor is simply a genuine, down-to-earth guy and nice person. Coordinating the music to be performed at our ceremony was easily the least stressful aspect of our wedding.

Taylor was the first of three musicians to respond to our request on GigSalad.com. We asked him for samples of his music and he immediately provided us with links to his web sites. We were impressed by what we heard -- his style was exactly what we were looking for – and to see that he had several albums under his belt.

When we first met face-to-face with Taylor, we could tell he was our kind of people. It was important to him that we were his kind of people as well, which we appreciated. Having himself been recently married, Taylor understood where our heads were and totally got our vision for how he would fit into our wedding. We hadn't heard of Taylor Carson prior to our wedding, but are now absolutely fans and we look forward to seeing/hearing him again at one of his many local live performances.

Taylor is not only professional, but also that great mix of right and left brain at work in harmony. I asked him to play whatever he felt like playing, especially his own music, at an outdoor garden party in 41 degree temperatures with only a patio heater to keep him from freezing. Taylor was obsoletely an amazing professional artist. He performed has part of my flash mob proposal to my girlfriend. Planning the event with Taylor went so smoothly. I had Taylor play and sing acoustic renditions of pop music in a park to set the mood while I proposed to my girlfriend. He has a polished voice and his guitar interpretations of the music were incredible
