Samba Reggae Jam
Our singer and signature samba reggae band are ready to take you and your guests on a musical journey. In this show, we cover songs from some of the biggest Samba-Reggae groups. From Olodum to Timbalada and everything in between. Our singer’s powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence will keep everyone delighted from start to finish, while our samba reggae band’s drummers will have you moving to the beat.

Samba Reggae Fusion
In addition to our signature samba reggae band, we offer a full show with a singer and melody band.

This show combines samba reggae with some of the biggest artists of all time. We play classic hits from the likes of Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as Latin American legends like Celia Cruz, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Baiana Sound System, Caetona Veloso, Olodum, Ilê Aiyê, Margaret Meneses, Daniela Mercury, and more.

Our singer and melody band will take your event to the next level. We guarantee your guests won’t be able to resist hitting the dance floor.

TDot Batu is a tightly knit Afro–Brazilian samba reggae percussion ensemble or “batucada” inspired by the power and dedicated to the study of the rich rhythmic tradition borne out of the fusion of samba and reggae.

We study under the guidance of Mestre Patricio ‘Pato’ Irie who honed his skills and developed his musical stylings while living in and playing in the birthplace of samba reggae–Salvador, Bahia. In 1997 Pato moved to Chile, where he shared his knowledge of samba reggae for more than 10 years.

As an integral part of the Toronto Tropical music scene, we engage with diverse members of the arts and music community to create spectacular participatory celebrations that reflect the vast color and energy of Brazilian culture.

For our full band shows that include singers and melody, we require a stage, vocal microphones, instrument microphones, speakers, and stage monitors.
