Our song selection and style provide an upbeat ambiance, perfect for events large and small!
Brendan and Stacey provided entertainment for our office Holiday Party that we hosted at our house. It was a catered event for about 30+ adults, but they easily could have entertained 100. They were professional, punctual and able to accommodate our logistical requests. In addition, they are excellent performers and complement each other very well. I highly recommend them for any function.
Response from Tea for Two:
Thank you for this shining review and recommendation, Fritz! We had a lovely time, playing your holiday party. You and your guests were gracious, friendly, and fun! We look forward to partnering with you on future events, including your upcoming fundraiser(s). Cheers, and Happy New Year!
We recently had a backyard wedding reception and decided that we needed a little music to go with our celebration - enter Brendan and Stacey. They were amazing! Their music was both a nice back drop for conversation and wonderful entertainment for our guests. Never was their music overpowering, but always there for when there was a lull. I wish there had been more lulls so that we could have enjoyed their music more! Brendan is a very talented guitarist (he even learned some new songs just for us!) and Stacey has a beautiful voice that was complemented perfectly by guitar. They played a large repertoire of songs and they ended up with a band of small children dancing next to them! We'd highly recommend them for your next soiree!
Response from Tea for Two:
Victoria, thank you for your gracious review! We had a lovely time playing your wedding reception. So glad our music created the ambiance you were seeking. We wish you and Andrew a lifetime of love and happiness!
Brendan and Stacey performed at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus’ Loyal Benefactor Celebration. The demographic of this event consists of some of the Anschutz Campus’ most generous donors. As Event Coordinator, I consistently try to provide outstanding customer service for our donors and this includes entertainment. Brendan and Stacey were, as many guests stated, the ‘hit of the evening’. Our guests made multiple comments regarding the lead singer’s vocals, the duo’s song selection, their professionalism, and their energy. I would book Stacey and Brendan again and again for corporate events ranging in size and demographic. They were a breeze to work with from a logistical perspective and they truly delivered when it came to quality of performance.
Response from Tea for Two:
Lindsay, many sincere thanks for this shining review! We’re thrilled that you received such positive feedback about our performance from your guests. Thank you for trusting us to set the perfect ambiance for your event. We look forward to partnering with you again in the near future! Cheers!

Tea for Two is a jazz-inspired duo, born out of two musicians' mutual desire to create a joyful ambiance for special occasions. Stacey Riley and Brendan Bondurant truly enjoy selecting repertoire that will uplift your guests, while maintaining a low-key presence that won't interfere with good conversation. Here's some more background on each of these musicians...
Stacey Riley is a professional vocalist, bandleader, voice instructor, actor, and model from Michigan. Her musical experience includes everything from college choirs to musical theatre review shows to rock, pop, and jazz bands. She is the lead vocalist and bandleader of Twilight ~ Jazz & Beyond, a back-up singer in Denver's premiere Steely Dan tribute band (Citizen Dan), and has recently been asked to join a new project, Metafonic Rockestra, which is still in the early stages of planning. Stacey loves singing French music, as well as standards from The Great American Songbook. Some of her musical heroes of that era/genre are Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson, Anita O'Day, Sarah Vaughan, and Dinah Washington. Other artists who influence and inspire Stacey are Cyrille Aimee, Stacey Kent, Erykah Badu, Edith Piaf, Melody Gardot, Lauryn Hill, and Whitney Houston.
Guitarist Brendan Bondurant has been performing around the United States for over 15 years, playing everything from blues, jazz, flamenco, Brazilian music, and classical guitar. He uses his flamenco and classical technique to perform in the style of jazz greats Joe Pass, Lenny Breau, and Martin Taylor. In 2008 he was awarded the Greensburg Guitar Scholarship to study Classical guitar at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and in 2014 he was awarded an Allied Arts grant to study flamenco in Madrid, Spain. Aside from performing, Brendan has been teaching for over a decade and maintains a busy studio in Denver, CO.
