We didn't pull in a big crowd due to the weather but this band was absolutely great!
Classic Rock Band, Cover Band
If you are looking for a band for your event, you need look no further than Teacher's Pet! My husband and I searched many bands before deciding on these guys and we haven't regretted it at all. From first contact, Alan made the process of preparing for our musical entertainment a breeze. These guys (and girl) are super personable, flexible, fun, and very adept at reading the crowd and playing the right music to keep the party going. Our guests had a fantastic time and danced all night! Several asked us where we found the band because they were so impressed. And their price is fantastic! We would hire Teacher's Pet again in a heartbeat!
Wedding Band
Teachers Pet is talented, FUN and versatile. We got rave reviews from guests. They engaged the crowd and sang happy birthday to a friend as I had requested. Really sensed the crowd’s mood-played light music during dinner and took it up a notch as the party heated up. The horn section is AWESOME. My fav memory of my reception is the last 2 hours and everyone going crazy dancing- I owe that to TP for getting everyone excited and to the dance floor. Best band for the price. In fact, I think they were worth much more than we could pay. I would absolutely recommend this band. They even learned 2 songs for us! My contact person (Alan) was very accommodating and helpful. -

From Ryan Lane.
Teacher's Pet played at our wedding reception in Birmingham, AL. These guys did it all! They traveled from Nashville, brought all of their own sound equipment, and played great mood music for our guests while we were getting pictures made. To top it off, they played great music late into the night! It was a great time! Many thanks to Teacher's Pet for making our wedding reception a great success! We couldn't have been more pleased with the music, and your energy really kept things going. I can't think of anything we would have changed; it was perfect. If we or our friends have another party, you'll be the first people we call. Thanks for everything!

About
Teacher’s Pet is a dynamic high energy Nashville band with experienced musicians and powerful vocalists that will bring back old memories and spark some new ones too. The Pet has a big sound, dynamic rhythms, a versatile selection of music, and is always ready to provide entertainment with a polish! The band size and instrumentation can be modified to perfectly match your entertainment needs.
The musicians making up our group are some of the most talented and professional players in the area. We have a deep commitment to doing whatever it takes to meet and exceed expectations at your next event.
We do concerts, corporate events, clubs, private parties and our specialty, WEDDINGS! We are authentic and energetic, and our seasoned experience can cover any event.
Some of our past gigs include corporate events for the Tennessee Walking Horse Trainers, Corroon and Black, the American Bar Association, SunTrust Bank, Price Waterhouse law firm, American Urological Association, Federal Reserve Bank, King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, and the Nissan Corporation, just to name a few.
The Pet has rocked a birthday party for Charlie Daniels Jr., Ronnie Milsap's son’s wedding reception, and the wedding reception of actress Reese Witherspoon’s brother. We were selected to be the backing band for Sam Moore of the original Sam and Dave for a fundraiser. In addition, we’ve also performed at fundraisers for United Cerebral Palsy, the Siskin Foundation Gala, the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala, and the Heart Fund Gala. We’ve performed for Nashville’s Summer Lights festival, the Iroquois Steeplechase, and were chosen to perform at the unveiling of the statue of Athena at Nashville’s Centennial Park… an event attended by royalty from Greece.
The Pet has extensive wedding experience. Many clients choose us over your everyday wedding bands because we offer more of a great party-band atmosphere rather than the schmaltz of so many "wedding-singer" type bands.
We are also available in smaller ensembles or solo/duo for ceremonies and jazz cocktail hours.
We look forward to working with you and doing what we do best... providing you with high-quality live entertainment and helping to make your event unforgettable from start to finish!
