Teddy Roosevelt comes to life through 3-time national champion living history performer Adam Lindquist who brings the wit and wisdom of Teddy to audiences across the globe.
You will be inspired by a message that is as relevant today as it was in the past. Because of his skill in recreating this amazing man, you will forget that you are not speaking to the "real" Teddy. Adam would have it no other way - his goal is to make his audience believe they have met our 26th President and need to wring his personality out of their clothes.
Adam's portrayal of Theodore Roosevelt was simply amazing! "Teddy" spoke at our Unitarian Universalist Fellowship this morning and held our audience captivated for nearly an hour (including some Q & A). Adam was very friendly and very easy to work with on coordinating all the logistics. Highly recommend for any group interested to hear more about one of our most important Presidents.
Response from Teddy Roosevelt Live:
Thank you so much for the kind review. I was impressed with the quality questions your group had and the great theme you had provided my to base my program. It was a wonderful "Journey" to present at your event.
My fianceé is a huge admirer of Theodore Roosevelt, so I thought it would be great to have Teddy Roosevelt Live come to the rehearsal dinner for our wedding. It turns out that it wasn't the most convenient or practical request for him or for me, seeing as he is located at a distance from where we're getting married. However, he offered to create a video that I could play for her, and he even recorded it twice because he was losing his voice in the first video. This was such a kind gesture that was completely unnecessary but he offered up his time anyway, and it means so much to me. To spend so much time and effort for a complete stranger, as a gift, is more than anything I could have asked or hope for, and the video turned out perfectly! I can't wait for my fianceé to see it! I would absolutely 100% recommend hiring Teddy Roosevelt Live for your next event!
Response from Teddy Roosevelt Live:
I appreciate your flexibility in meeting both of our needs. It was bully fun to make the video, and even better, you now have an additional way to celebrate your anniversary!
Adam / TR was the keynote speaker at the Association of Correctional Food Service Affiliates (ACFSA) International Conference and presented our group with the 7 Principles to Great Leadership. Adam’s knowledge of the life of TR makes him appear to be the real person. The philosophies of TR are still as applicable in 2016 as they were over 100 years ago and Adam makes you feel like you are listening to TR in person. He has a natural talent for working a crowd and keeping them engaged. He did not disappoint and we were very pleased that we hired him.
He made history come to life. What I learned as a child was just names and dates out of context. Adam made it live!
Response from Teddy Roosevelt Live:
Thank you so much for your kind review. It was Bully to meet you and your customers and bring them the message of "Do what thay can, with what they have, where they are!" . Even better was seeing you in action delivering on Roosevelt's axiom!
Adam Lindquist was absolutely marvelous as Theodore Roosevelt. I forgot for a minute he wasn't the real thing. What a treat for American history/Roosevelt lovers in our group. Thanks again.

I was fortunate to see James Whitmore portray Harry S. Truman when I was only 9 years old. Roosevelt and Truman were two leaders who inspired me when I was young, so discovering that I looked like TR and able to recreate him later in life has become a true blessing. I think of that experience seeing Whitmore and how much it influenced me, and try to bring that same level of enthusiasm and inspiration to my portrayal of Roosevelt so that my audiences feel the same as I did. I want you to feel you met Roosevelt personally!
