Teen Idle is stage name of Manasquan-based indie-rock musician Sara Abdelbarry. Sara's original music combines many influences including '90s grunge and '80s pop. Aside from songwriting and music production, Sara is a skilled multi-instrumentalist able to play multiple instruments, from lead or rhythm guitar (her main instrument) to piano to bass.
Sara can be booked to perform solo or as a full band or as her band Teen Idle. In either situation, you can ask for her to perform her original music, cover songs, or a combination of both. No matter the event, whether a birthday party, wedding, corporate event, or in your backyard for a summer party, Sara is excited to come perform for you.

Depends on the performance - if solo, I will need a PA, whether that’s yours or one that I bring.
For full band, we will supply all amps, but can talk about gear we need, such as a PA system and microphones. We can bring all of this gear for a small fee.
