Terry is a solo vocalist accompanying herself on guitar and mandolin. She performs traditional Irish music year round and in March you'll likely see her decked in green. See her monthly at Molly Maguire's Restaurant in Phoenixville and the Irish Center in Philadelphia.
Terry's musical interests go well beyond her Irish-American upbringing.
Seniors love Terry's energy as she dances and plays American popular music from (phone number hidden)0 as well as Broadway tunes. She plays monthly birthday parties with themed music for each month.
In a duo called the Jameson Sisters with harpist, Ellen Tepper, she performs Baroque classical favorites as well as popular opera arias and, of course, Irish music.
Teresa was a wonderful addition to our St Paddy's Day celebration.
I would highly recommend her. She has a wonderful voice.
Thank you so much
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thank you Kate. I've never been to Coatesville area to perform and your historic inn was inspiring. The stage was so spacious I can't wait to come back with the harp or with my band. Everyone was so friendly and festive for St. Patrick's Day.
For my elegant pool party, the evening started out with instrumental broadway show tunes and then some folk rock sing alongs. It was the perfect blend of elegance and then fun fun fun! Thank you Terry and Ellen you made my birthday party so special!
What a great performance at our annual St Paddy's Day party. Made all of us feel like we were right back in Ireland. A true lassie of the green isle. We loved her and look forward to hiring her next year🍀🍀☘️ She even taught us some Gaelic!
Terry played for our Ladies Luncheon Irish Theme and the Women loved the performance. Requests were made and fulfilled. Some ladies stayed a bit longer to sing along as well. We will invite The Jameson sisters/Terry back again for future events.
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thanks for your review Kelly. I really enjoyed my time there at the luncheon. You ladies definitely won the prize for most dressed in green, probably 10 times better than anyone else. What enthusiasm! Looking forward to joining you in the future.
Terry Kane was excellent with a homespun warmth that endeared her audience to her. Loved her!
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thank-you so much. Isabel. for your kind words. Your family was so welcoming it was a real treat to sing Scottish as well as Scottish Gaelic songs for you on such a special occasion.
We hired Terry to be a part of our Annual St. Patrick's Day party at the Club. She was energetic, professional and gives one heck of a performance. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great performer!!! Will surely hire her again!!!! 5 stars!!!!!
Terry, Thank you for an amazing night. I have been getting so many compliments for the job that you and the dancer did. I look forward to seeing you again. Warm Regards, George Faust Executive Director Washington Township Senior Living
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thank you George,
It was such a pleasure adding my part to what was already a wonderfully fun St. Patrick's Party organized and wonderfully executed by you and your staff. I would be glad to join you for any parties you have throughout the year. Abby also would be happy to join you if you require more dancing. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Terry Kane of the Jameson Sisters is the most amazing woman ever! Not only is she extremely professional but is also very friendly. This incredible woman went out of her way for a complete stranger to help me give my sister an amazing send off during her memorial luncheon by finding me a fiddler and Irish dancers to do a beautiful jig! I would recommend The Jameson sisters and gig salad for every musical need from now on! They were great! Terry I can’t thank you enough! We will connect again in the future!!
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thank you, Cherie, for your kind words. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Terry was amazing. I would highly recommend her any time. She made the party for the celebration of my mother’s life fun. She handled all our requests and was sensitive to some of my friends special needs. Please feel confident in hiring her for your event.
Response from Teresa Kane:
Thank you, Ann, for your kind words. I was glad to play my part in relieving some of the stress of a sad day for all of you. Helping to celebrate your mom's life was a joy and a privilege. It is especially nice when people make requests, that they sing along on their own accord. I'm so happy that remembering your mom's love for Irish music could comfort you and put smiles on your family and friends faces.
I don't just play solo. Keep me in mind for other celebrations. I work with a variety of musicians to provide music for all occasions. Solo or in a group I would love to play for your family any time!
Slán go fóill,
Bye for now,
Terry

She has performed with many ensembles and now is a solo performer and harp teacher. She loves history and weaves historical information about the harp and songs throughout her performances. These stories are never told without a good laugh thrown in since Ellen is never at a loss for humour. Recently she joined Terry Kane in a dynamic collaboration that has lifted both performers to new heights.
Terry Kane has a masters degree in music education from Crane School of Music. She has been singing and performing Irish music from childhood and has studied the Irish (Gaelic) language and sean ns singing in Ireland. Her interest in Italian music started with her love of Vivaldi mandolin music as a child and then expanded into Italian opera while she was studying music in college.
