Terpsichore

We are Boston Univeristy's Premiere all-female a cappella group, Terpsichore. Our name, pronounced Terp-sik-or-ee, is based off of the Greek muse of Song and Dance, and we have been singing fun and unique a cappella covers of our favorite hits all around Boston since 1989!

Terpsichore has also been lucky enough to have received recognition for our hard work and success in the a cappella sector. In 2009, the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (a.k.a. CARA) awarded us with awards for Best Female Collegiate Solo and Best Female Collegiate Arrangement. Not to mention the our arrangement of “There’s Hope” was featured on “Voices Only,” a selective Compilation CD of the best A Cappella songs in the country, in 2008. We recently competed as quarterfinalists is last year's ICCA competition, and over the summer were lucky enough to have competed in and named 2nd place champions in the Outside the Box A Cappella Competition.
College blog HerCampus also recently ranked us #8 on their list of the Top 10 Best Female A Cappella Groups!

We are very flexible in our booking dates and times. Terpsichore has had the pleasure of performing at all types of venues, from charity functions and galas to educational and corporate conferences, as well as at fundraisers and high school benefit performances. We perform a wide range of songs, and are more than opening to creating a personalized set from our repertoire that will be perfect for your event!
