Do you love Texas Country but not ready to hire a full band? Then look no further! Will and Lisa are pro musicians who are adaptable to a myriad of venues, audience size, and sound needs to make your event perfect. You're having a house party? No worries! We will tailor our sound to suit your neighborhood requirements. Are you hosting a BBQ for 200? We've got you covered! If you are unable to provide the PA, Will is a sound engineer and can provide all of the equipment to suit your venue.

Willing to Travel:
We generally perform in Houston and surrounding areas but we also will travel out of town. Let us know what you have in mind!

What will the audience see and hear?
The audience changes our vibe depending on who they are. Are we uptown playing a poolside party in the early evening? We might pull back for a nice relaxed kind of show. Is it a rodeo cookoff with plenty of beer and BBQ? That's a WHOLE different show!

Will Velasquez and Lisa Russell are out with a new duo after working together in the Houston Country Music scene. They are both professional musicians who keep a tight calendar of engagements with multiple big country band events. Contact now for a great acoustic night!

Will Velasquez is a Houston based professional lead guitarist/vocalist with major street cred. He currently keeps a full schedule performing with one of his many bands. Little Joe and Southern Brown Band, American Girl: Carrie Underwood Tribute, Big Time Band, Texas Stew, and Texas Sweet. Will is also a favorite to call as a substitute lead guitarist. Houston based artists know that he is ready on the drop of a hat because of his vast experience and professionalism. TOURING: Will toured for several years with Houston based Marshall Rock’s Country from Fort Worth Stockyards to Port O’Connor opening for Wade Bowen. Will toured with Nashville artist Cody Joe Hodges on his East Coast tour. Dance Hall House Band: When Will lived in the Texas Valley he was employed as house band lead guitar and vocals with the Legendary Wink's Bar/Grill and Roping Arena Band for several years.

Lisa Russell was born in Texas and has jumped into the Texas Country Scene with both feet over these last few years. She is a fiddle player and vocalist in several Houston based bands. Texas artist: Sandee June, Bootleg Rodeo Band, Southern Brown Band, and Texas Miles Band and a new duo Texas Sweet!
As a violinist, Lisa works as a freelance classical violinist with local symphonies in the Houston area. Section work with the following has been done over the years: Symphony of Southeast Texas, Lake Charles Symphony, Clear Lake Symphony, Pasadena Philharmonic, most recently working with the Brazosport Symphony. She regularly performs with Third Floor Strings (weddings and events) as well as Houston area churches for special music that includes classical choral works and praise band worship. She performed with the Tallowood Choir on the 2022 Tour of Milan, Italy,
