Thata Samba Show performed for a group of 500+ middle school aged students and they loved it! Students and staff were engaged for the entire 45 minute show. Thata Samba Show had colorful outfits, lively music and engaging dance moves. They brought students on stage to learn traditional Samba moves as well as information about Brazilian culture. Students and staff loved the performance and are looking forward to having them return!

About
Thata was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Her passion for samba started with six years of age, when she would watch the samba school's street rehearsals through the gate of her house.
Thata become a fitness instructor in 2016, teaching zumba, aqua zumba and hitt classes in different gyms around the city.
Thata won several Samba competitions including being crowned Chicago Samba Queen in 2019. Thata continues to spread her love for her culture through dance. Her art and performance bringing happiness, cultural enrichment and joy to people.
