The 1's & 2's

We had them for our wedding in Roscommon MI Sept 24th 2022. They were in my opinion the best wedding band I've ever seen or heard. All of our guest made a comment on how amazing they were and how fun they were. Many people said, thats the best band ive ever seen at a wedding. What a great group of people. Cannot recommend the enough! So easy to work with during stressful times.

Our son was married and we had the 1’s and 2’s as their band. They were absolutely awesome. The party is made or not by the band; They nailed it!!! So much fun for the entire night, and as I have said many times since then, “Best wedding ever” not only because I am the grooms mom, but because this band kept the party going from ceremony to last dance. Just SO good! Thank you, thank you 1’s and 2’s!

The Ones and Twos provided ceremony music, cocktail hour jazz and reception entertainment for our Wedding in Suttons Bay, MI. The process was hassle free and they worked excellently with the Day of Coordinator to give us an incredible, stress free, incredible, & unique celebration.

All of our guests complimented the band and were out of their seats on the dancefloor as they delivered an incredible performance. We were able to have them play our first dance song (which they played beautifully) and they did a perfect performance at the ceremony, where they accommodated our request for Fleetwood Mac.

Overall, This band knocked it out of the park. My wife and I are incredibly happy with our choice. I will go see them play in the future at their public gig's - because they really are that good!

The 1's & 2's played at our daughter's wedding in Grand Rapids on October 15th and were simply AMAZING! The dance floor was packed all night and you never felt a need to request a song because they play all the hits.
Vocals and instrumental's were SPOT ON and we heard from everyone how amazing they covered each song. A GREAT BAND like the 1's & 2's put our daughter's wedding over the top! Thanks Brendon and the rest of the band for an evening we will not forget!

We are so happy that The One's and Two's were part of the greatest day of our lives. They were so professional in their work. Brendon was amazing with his communication and wanted the best for us. The band was so amazing; the quality of the sound and the use of their lighting was so impressive. I love supporting the arts! This is such a good group of talented artists! The 1's & 2's were, simply put, the best wedding band ever. Every single guest was blown away by how talented and engaging they were, and how much energy and enthusiasm they projected throughout the entire evening. Leading up to the event, they were very proactive and communicative and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went according to our specifications. When our original venue cancelled on us 10 days out (!!), they wasted no time collaborating with our new venue to alleviate stress on our end and ensure that everything ran smoothly. I would recommend them without hesitation for your party or event!

The 1's & 2's played at my sister’s wedding at Blossom Heath Inn, in St. Clair Shores, Mi. The cocktail hour and dinner music were superb and the dance party was great after dinner! Everyone, from grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends, were simply raving about this band. Brenden also helped me greatly with part of my speech which went into a flash mob, I couldn’t have done it without him!

The 1's & 2's played our wedding at the Colony Club in Detroit. We could not have been happier with their performance. Brendon was our point of contact and band leader/MC for the night, and he was super accessible throughout the entire lead up process to the wedding and was receptive to any of our suggestions. They bring two sound engineers that DJ in between band sets to cover any songs you want played that the band doesn't have covered. The band ABSOLUTELY ROCKS, they kept our party going until close and all of our guests had an amazing time dancing all night. These guys are absolute professionals, and you should not hesitate to book them for your wedding.

The 1s & 2s were recommended to us by a friend to play our wedding. We had a blast, and our guests still talk about how awesome the band was. We would recommend them to anyone in need of a great Motown/Funk band to play any gig.

The band was very professional and did an excellent job! Brendon was easy to work with and was able to accommodate our requests for particular songs from their setlist as well as the music for the ceremony. The band showed up on time (actually plenty early), relieving the bride of one worry :) They dressed as we requested (nice suits) and most importantly sounded excellent. I can not put into words how extremely happy we were with the quality of service, music and professionalism. Thank you!

My company hired the 1’s & 2’s for a client appreciation reception and were very pleased with their performance! We were looking for a mix of jazz and Motown music and the 1’s & 2’s fit the bill perfectly. The band’s Manager, Brendon, was wonderful to work with. He was very professional & friendly, responded promptly to our many inquiries and was accommodating to our specific requests.

At the recommendation of Brendon, we left the song selection up to the band. They did a great job with the selections they chose for our event, it was a good mix of jazz instrumentals and vocals. Their music was great and our clients truly enjoyed their performance. I would certainly recommend the 1’s & 2’s for any upcoming event!

I'm trying to find words to describe the things I felt the moment the band started to play My Girl when I was dancing with my father. And I'm coming up short. It will always be one of my favorite memories from my wedding.
This band is spot on from planning and organization to the quality of every single musician and singer.
The band has an incredible song list and I promise if you trust them to handle the set list completely, the dance floor will be full the entire evening. (Side note, kids LOVED the live music.)
Another huge plus, it was so entertaining for my friends and family that don't dance. They had a full evening of great live music and you just can't get that from a DJ.
I will finish by giving a real bit of advice I wish I had found on all those wedding websites. I had been going back and forth on whether or not we could afford a band and if it would be worth it. I can tell you now, not to question yourself, if a band is what you want, because these guys are above and beyond worth it. I had a lower budget wedding and these guys treated me like a big budget bride from booking to playing.

We hired the 1's and 2's for our wedding reception this June (6/27/15) and couldn't be any more pleased with their performance. From the start, they were very professional and very quick to answer any questions we had. Brendon is an excellent manager and helped ease the stress that planning a wedding can bring. They were easy to deal with and very accommodating to our requests. At the wedding, they were amazing! They approached us several times through the night to check to see how things were going for us. Their song choices were exactly what we wanted and we have been receiving comments about how awesome the band was. They will keep everyone dancing and having a great time. We hired the 1's and 2's for our wedding fall of 2012 and they did an outstanding job. The music was great, performance was great, and they were able to get and keep everyone dancing all night long. It really helped make our wedding played the day we had been hoping for.

Great Band! Clean, crisp sound. Professional, and not just a crowd pleaser, but a group that represents the sound of Motown much, much better than other "cover" groups and groups comprised of some of the old actual Motown musicians. Great group, sound, and show! Book Them!

The 1's and 2's were a perfect choice for our wedding. They played an acoustic set for the ceremony and also played the cocktail hour and reception. From the first dance to the last song they kept everyone moving. They were truly amazing and would be highly recommended. Thanks for making our wedding great!

I saw this band at a private party in Bloomfield Hills and they were awesome! The tunes they played we're amazing and the dance floor was always full. I'm not big on live music but these guys are true pros! They sounded so professional and really brought the party alive! Can't wait to see them again next year!

I went to my friends wedding in Grand Rapids Ohio about a month ago and these guys amazed me. They provided a wonderful acoustic guitar duo during the wedding ceremony, a nice selection of jazz during cocktail hour, nailed the bride and groom's first dance song, then rocked the party with a great selection of Motown tunes and other very danceable music. The dance floor was NEVER empty! Also, my friend who hired them told me they were really nice and easy to work with. They brought the right attitude and ambience to make this night a great one!

I saw this band at a party in Ann Arbor a few weeks ago and they were freaking awesome! I haven't seen a band like this in soooo long.

After searching long and hard for the right band, my husband and I decided to hire The 1's and 2's for our wedding, I cannot say enough GREAT things! Not only was the band completely professional but they sounded absolutely amazing! They had an incredible array of songs and even brought material we had specially selected. Our guests raved all night how wonderful the music was and we could not have agreed anymore. The press pack does not do them justice, their sound was phenomenal.
