The 2-5-2 Boyz (D-Moss & Pistol) were both born in Virginia and raised in North Carolina. The two met by a mutual friend, Nick Vinick, one night at a party and had no clue what was to come. D-Moss had been making beats for a little over a year and Pistol had just released a mixtape with a local friend. They soon got together and D-Moss started to record Pistol. The two put their heads together and decided to have a rap group called The 2-5-2 Boyz. The 2-5-2 Boyz have been in the game for 5 years now and 2010 was a breakout year!

At first it was all fun and games just trying to make a little money and rap but they did not know what was to come. They released two mixtapes called "The Biography" & "Down Fo' The Hood" in 2007. In 2008 The 2-5-2 Boyz dropped their first single and what was said to be a "pretty good song" called "The Voices". They then went on to make their first album titled "The Voices" in 2008. The CD was a top seller! After the good feedback one day D-Moss happened to get on facebook and see some of the kids at the local high school were disrespecting their work saying "these guys are losers" and "who would want to represent Currituck anyway". What was just for fun then turned into business. "I saw that whole conversation and i was like...ok....ok....if they want me to get serious i'll get serious" said D-Moss. From that point on The 2-5-2 Boyz went to work. They quit talking about fake stuff like guns, drugs, and killing, and started talking about people they knew and they stuff they know. "We just wanted to take this seriously" said Pistol. The work they put in started to pay off as D-Moss started to gain respect of people in North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Florida as a notorious freestyle rapper and a work of lyrical art. At the same time Pistol was working on his producing skills and we mastering the art of mixing and mastering as well as working on his rhyme speed and flow. In late 2008 D-Moss came up with the idea of Stick Em Up Records. The two soon brought that idea to life and went on a signing storm recruiting the best rappers in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. Currently The 2-5-2 Boyz have put out a new mixtape titled "The Misdemeanor" and are working on their second album which is unnamed as of now. Also to top it all off Stick Em Up Records is planning a tour for the 2012 summer called "The Young Entrepreneurs Tour" Which the label hopes to feature its own artists as well as Lakeland artist Stino. Keep up with The 2-5-2 Boyz, Stick Em Up Records, and the rest of their artists as they reach for their dream!
