Oyindamola has over 6 years’ experience in human capital management, communication for development and nonprofit management.
A music lover, and passionate about the arts sector, he managed a team of over 350 people, and served as Creative Director for LoveWorld Music and Arts, Durban, South Africa from 2010 to 2014.
In June 2015, Oyindamola was selected as 1 of 100 Brightest Young Minds across Africa by Barclays Africa. This initiative equips and empowers young African leaders to use entrepreneurship and innovation, to accelerate growth in Africa.
Passionate about empowering young people, and representing their interests both locally and globally, he was named "African Youth Hero" in November 2015 by the African Union Commission, owing to the role he plays in promoting the rights of young people in Africa.
In March 2016, Oyindamola was selected as a Volunteering for International Professionals (VIP) Fellow by the Malaysian Government, where he spent 4 months contributing towards the development of the social sector in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Working on development initiatives and projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, has enabled Oyindamola develop strong capacity in leadership and advocacy. And in September 2016, he was selected as an Atlas Corps Fellow. Atlas Corps’ Emerging Global Leaders Initiative Fellowship advances former U.S. President Barack Obama’s Stand with Civil Society agenda, launched in September 2013 as a global call to action to support and sustain civil society.
Oyindamola currently serves as Chief of Staff at Practice Makes Perfect (PMP) in New York, U.S. PMP operates high-quality academic summer school programming in New York City, and aims to narrow the achievement gap, eliminate summer learning loss, and create high quality learning opportunities for inner-city youth. His role at PMP covers strategy, execution, finance, and people management.
