The Allegrettos are an all-gender a cappella group at Boston University. Their captivating performances feature alternative pop and R&B. Inspired by a love of singing with friends, the Allegrettos can now be found performing at events on and off campus, competitions, and charities all year round (they even sang for President Obama at the White House in 2016!). They also recently competed in the 2019 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA’s). Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Allegrettos still managed to record and deliver stellar virtual performances. The group’s new direction includes intricate arrangements and a whole lot of energy!

Expect to have the most memorable experience there is to have with a cappella. We can liven up a crowd and set the mood. We transform songs you have heard before into songs you haven't, and we never fail to leave the audience in awe. We believe that if we have fun with what we do, so will the audience!

Members come from many different parts of the U.S. and globe, including Hawaii, Taiwan, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
