The Anderson's have harmony that will knock your socks off. Not just harmony, but power harmony. I met them in May 2015, at a trio & Qt convention where I run the sound, and can say it was great to hear them. They did soundcheck with "He Leadeth Me", based on The Martins' stellar acapella arrangement, and I was thinking "this is good". I used to think that Ohio's gospel music scene didn't have many great groups, (I've been around it for over 14 years now) but the Anderson's are one of those groups who are proving me wrong. As the concert went on, I found out that they are good enough to not only do songs by the Martins, but they can do songs by the amazing group Sisters, and not only do justice to them, but "own the stage" while singing them. Like I said earlier, I once thought Ohio didn't have many groups that good. But more important than the singing, they let their love of The Lord show while they sing. Even better than that, I got to observe behind my sound table one of the members paying respect to The Lord & the other groups by standing by and intently listening to their ministries and worshiping The Lord as others sang. This is not a group who is characterized by showing up, making a show for themselves, and leaving. They aren't better than anyone else. They come to worship The Lord Jesus, and fellowship with His people. No "hiding on the bus" for these guys. Very refreshing, when sometimes the "good" singing groups are stuck up on themselves, snotty, etc, the Andersons have their priorities in order more so than others. So, yes, I would recommend that you book them.
Response from The Andersons:
Wow thank you for those kind words! We are undeserving and humbled. We are thankful for the blessings God bestows and just want to give Him all the glory. Really, it's just all about Him!
