The Arise Band is a group of worship leaders who have come together to form a professional caliber band with a heart for worship.
The highly-talented Arise Band led praise and worship during our church's annual weekend youth retreat. Their sensitivity to the Spirit's leading and God-glorifying emphasis ushered us to God's Throne with energized praise and reverent worship. Band members are engaging, genuine and true worshipers, not performers. They make smooth transitions from upbeat praise to heartfelt worship to the speaker's time. We enthusiastically recommend them to anyone needing a passionate worship band.
Arise band is Awesome! They were very professional by returning messages and following through with what they promised. Last minute changes were made to the event and they were very accommodating. I have been leading events for 17 years and I must say Arise is the best group I have ever work with. They are a talented musicians and I will definitely us them again. I have used the Arise Band on several occasions for our annual Spring Retreat for Broadus Youth Group, as well as other events in our Youth Ministry. They do a wonderful job of leading worship. I also love the fact that they connect with the students and make them feel comfortable and like they are a part of the worship experience. My students love having them come each year to our event and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a worship band. Great group of young people that truly love the Lord and are passionate about creating a Spirit led worship experience for all to enjoy.
The band was the very definition of professional, and they worked extremely well with our sound crew. I was thoroughly impressed by their willingness to be flexible as we needed them to change the length of their sets a couple of times.
Their sound was tight and well rehearsed, but you could tell they never forgot they were leading praise. It was one of the most authentic praise teams I've had the pleasure of working with.
The Arise Band has led worship for the IF:Local gathering I have hosted the last two years and we have been extraordinarily pleased with them. Each year, women express that worship is one of their favorite parts of the weekend. Not only is each and every member of the band incredibly talented, they each have such genuine hearts for worship and are gifted to facilitate an authentic worshipful environment. They do a great job of understanding the dynamics and demographics of specific groups and events and matching that in a way that feels natural and authentic. Our team happily welcomes them back year after year and would highly recommend them to others!

Our passion as a group is to usher in an organic time of worship, celebration, and participation as we praise our King, Jesus Christ. It's not about us, it's about Him. We work hard alongside event leaders to craft services that will be appropriate to the style and mood of the event. From powerful and low-key for prayer services, to hype and upbeat for youth conferences and events, we've done it all! Along with ushering in a time of worship and praise, we strive as a band to perfect our craft to bring glory to God, combining both personal worship from each individual member, as well as instrumental proficiency.
The Arise Band originated as the premier worship team for Arise Ministries, a Christian ministry dedicated to 18-30 year olds in the Mechanicsville and Richmond area. We are a team composed from many personal and musical backgrounds and church bodies, but all with one heart: to praise God through excellence in music and to provide a seamless worship experience to all those involved. Our musical styling is contemporary Christian worship music, such as Passion, All Sons and Daughters, Elevation Worship, Hillsong United, etc. We are a wacky group of folks, we love what we do, and have a whole lot of fun while doing it!
As a band we have had the great opportunity to lead worship for DNOW weekends, youth camps, young adult retreats, women's conferences, community events, and even the Virginia Sate Fair. We are always looking for opportunities to use our gifts for ministry.
The Arise Band travels with their own of the following:
Microphones/DIs, Mic Stands, Cables, Backline, Soundboard, Subsnakes, and wireless IEM units.
We do not require any floor wedges.
Wireless are Sennheiser G3, A-Band, 4 channels (2 mics, 2 IEMs). If RF coordination is required prior, please let us know.
We travel with an X32 rackmounted mixer, hooked up to a Netgear AC1750, and an iPad Mini for control. It can easily be used as the main FOH mixer. If however this isn't an option, we STRONGLY suggest you provide a split snake, as our X32 already has our IEM levels set, making soundcheck expeditiously quick.
Our mixer is setup as Left-Right-Sub, with matrices setup for Frontfills and a second sub channel.
Stage should be no smaller than 20' wide and 8' deep, and built to withstand appropriate dynamic loads of a bounce-around band.
We have Input/Output lists and Stageplots available on request.
We have access to an appropriate sound system for an additional fee. It requires a separate 15A circuit.
A simple stagewash will suffice for lighting. Or candlelight if the event calls for it.
