The Auburn Duo

In general, most bookings will be 2-3 hours. We always arrive 1 hour early to set up. For weddings, we typically play 15-30 minutes as a wedding prelude, then we will play the wedding processionals, ceremony music (if any), and a recessional or two.

As your guests enjoy a celebratory drink and you take your time having your photographs taken, we'll keep the atmosphere flowing smoothly. Weather permitting (of course) we are happy to perform inside or out, just let us know. Drinks reception usually consists of 2 x 45 minute sets, or 1 x 90 minute set of music.

If you are interested in having the duo amplified, we bring our own amp and mics, but would need an electrical outlet close by so we can have power. There is no additional fee for amplification.

If the client gives us a color scheme for the event, we will try to accommodate with a splash of that color scheme, like a dress, scarf, or a tie.

To prepare for your event, we are very punctual with emails and phone calls. We are always happy to assist you with any questions you may have, and if you want some advice on selecting music, we are always happy to help.

Also, if you need us to make a special arrangement that is not already in our repertoire, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Jesse Yoder - Guitar
With a forte in Classical, Jazz, and Popular music, Jesse has worked with an array of artists in the entertainment industry including: The Platters, Greg Bonham, Michel Cusson (UZEB), John Signor, Doug Floyd, Starr Kalahiki (Ulalena), along with; Berney Fields, Jacqueline Roche, Richard Flores, Mathew Pivec, and Carlos Bonell among others. Jesse recently performed in the Broadway Production of CHICAGO: The Musical on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Allure of the Seas. Prior, Jesse sat as the first guitarist for a new cirque-style show "Waikiki Nei" in Honolulu, Hawaii where he collaborated with award winning composer Michel Cusson. Originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Jesse holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance from California State University, Stanislaus. He has performed at the American College Theatre Festival in the musical, "Little Shop of Horrors" , and has toured Rio Di Janeiro, Brazil with the CSUS Concert Chorale; performing in Petropolis, Copacabana, and Ipanema. He has also performed with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra and Jazz ensembles from the Dave Brubeck Institute. In 2007, he was the first recipient to receive an Outstanding Student Award and medal from the department of music at California State University, Stanislaus. 

Valeria Yoder - Viola
Valeria expresses her talent in an array of musical styles including Classical, Jazz, and Popular music. Originally from the Ukraine, she began her music studies at age seven studying the piano with principal pianist Galina Grestskaya and vice-principal pianist Tatiana Stepurko. After years of being inspired by Orchestral and Symphony music, at the age of twelve, she decided to devote her musical career to the Viola. Before attending Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, she studied with Jacob Gypsman at the State Musical College, (link hidden)iboroda. Valeria has had the opportunity to perform with multiple Symphony Orchestras, String Quartets, Trio's and Chamber Ensembles worldwide. In 2000, she was invited to perform with the prominent Russian rock band "Picknic". Recently, Valeria has been performing internationally in such groups as the Odessa String Quartet, Bel Canto Strings,  and the Ginger String Quartet.
