Robert Ax is an extraordinary musician, last Saturday he was at my daughter's birthday celebration and it was truly spectacular, it was two hours of excellent music. From now on we will be hiring him for all our celebrations

Mr. Robert was so kind and so fantastic. He was able to cater to the 5 year old crowd and to the parents. Everyone was dancing at the end!!

He not only played great music, he was super engaging with the 3-4 year olds. He had them sitting, listening, and participating. It was incredible. Will definitely book him again.

In our last ditch effort to hire entertainment for our community festival, Robert was able to provide his services and save the day by playing a lot of well favored tunes throughout our event that had many of us singing along!

Robert was a musician at a friend’s party, and my daughter loved his music and asked to hire him for her 6th birthday party. Robert and Crystal were well organized throughout the process, and produced a playlist fitting to our needs. The music was literally a hit at the party, and both were so friendly and awesome to work with. We would definitely book again!

Robert AX’s jazzy guitar performance made our party unique, memorable AND fun. He did not mind playing rather background during arrival and welcoming of the guests, but created a special, cool and cheerful atmosphere with his tunes from the beginning. Crystal his wife and dj supported him so that they escorted us through the evening, somehow included all songs of my playlist and enchanted all guests. At the end they made us dance! Coordination and planning was easy, pleasant and always on time. They brought all equipment and a mic, they had a very cool, not too ostentatious set up, it was a great pleasure. Robert AX is an excellent, empathic guitarist, I highly recommend them to make any event special.

Robert AX was timely, played some awesome funky modern instrumental music for us, and pulled out a surprise Prince song (complete with hitting all the high notes) at the end of his set, in honor of Prince’s birthday. Our team liked his playing- a lot! We will definitely hire him again! Thanks, Robert!

You won’t regret hiring Robert. Not only was he a great performer but he is a great person over all. Scheduling was wonderful. Communication went well. He arrived early and came prepared with additional music. He played for my dads memorial service. He was very honoring to my dads memory and I am so glad we chose him. We were clapping and singing along to the songs he played. It’s hard to put it into words. This was a very hard day for my family. However, Robert’s guitar playing bought moments of joy and sunshine into a gloomy day. It turned an otherwise sad moment into a happy memory I will never forget. I will always be greatful.

Professional, punctual, and talented - we had a blast in our backyard dancing and singing to Ax's rendition of Prince's hits and obscure-fans-only tunes! Ax was easy to work with - totally recommend.

Robert brought a surprise I was planning for my fiance to life and was perfectly accommodating to some tight logistics and unique requests. The music itself was exactly what I wanted and I'd recommend him to anyone. Incredibly nice guy too and easy to work with. Thanks so much for making our anniversary that much more special!

ROBERT AX! Wow! Energy! Highly recommended! I hired him at the last minute -- on whim! -- to liven up these grim times we're living through at my daughter's birthday party. Because of Covid (and it was a warm and wonderful november night) he played in the street in front of her house. It's a narrow street, and there was a spot just off the curb, in a parking spot, and he gave us a full!!! (and more) hour of performance, including a song that I asked him to learn the night before. He was terrific. The neighbors on the little street came out on their teeny porches (or sidewalks) (typical tiny DC row house) and all listened. One little girl refused to go home with her dad, and she stayed to dance on the sidewalk (at 4 years old) with her mom. Even the dog across the street sat glued to the view through his locked screendoor and didn't leave til the party was over. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Just changed the dire mood during the days following election day, while we were all waiting. Thank you, thank you, thank you AX!!!!!

My son, 13, was hired to play cello as the "warm-up" act for a socially distanced party Robert performed at. Robert was there when we got there and throughout the whole set of mostly classical pieces. Robert offered his help setting up, offered use of some of his equipment, and gave the loudest applause and praise after each piece. And at the end, he ran up to my son and tipped him! I was floored by his generosity and my son was so motivated by the whole experience. We stuck around for part of Robert's performance and loved it. He was great engaging the guests and had a really positive presence on "stage." His heart is clearly in music. It has to be so tough for performers to make a living during this pandemic. Robert AX is one who deserves to make it through it.

Ax did a great job at my wife’s birthday party! He work the crowd well and wove in a few requests. We’d definitely hire him again!

It's no secret that he loves music! So professional and great on stage!

I found Robert as I was searching for a guitarist to play for my Uncle's funeral services. I reached out to him on a Wednesday, had a playlist to him on Wednesday evening, and on Friday morning, he showed up promptly and played the requested 8-9 songs, in addition in an impromptu song needed to fill in for a soloist that was not there. He played both as an accompaniment for singers, as well as by himself. His ministry through music had the family quite emotional, as my Uncle was a guitarist himself. We could not have asked for a better musician to provide the music for the services, as my family was deeply moved and touched that we could honor our family member with songs that he used to play. As this was and is a rough time for the family, Robert and Crystal handled business with us not only professionally, but also compassionately, and for that, we thank them. I highly recommend that you consider Robert for your future events, as we will also.

The AXpereince was everything I had hope it would be. Him and his partner were punctual and professional, but most of all gave a performance that was not only beautiful but also memorable. Thank you both for making a very important day, special!

Mr. Adams performed at a recent fundraising event we held, and he was amazing! His music set the perfect atmosphere for our event, and guests were asking staff about him all night! Would highly recommend to others interested in booking Mr. Adams.

Robert AX played an array of music for all ages! He was the perfect price, extremely personable and professional and played longer than he needed to just to give us more music as our event ran late.
