Tamirah's journey of makeup began summer 2012 , when she first transitioned from NYC to Washington, DC. It was around that same time that celebrity hair stylist, Gwynn Geohaghan, owner of Go By Geohaghan, introduced her to the Nation's Capital fashion and beauty industry. After being acquainted with novel experiences and a world of unfamiliarity, her passion for makeup artistry developed and she began to work on perfecting a craft she never knew she had.

While she started small, eventually, through client referral, professional relationships and the help of social media, she built her reputation. Tamirah K, is a Maryland based self-taught professional makeup artist who loves to express her creativity and ideas through makeup artistry.

The concept of The Beaute Bakery is similar to a therapy session. The client goes there to have freedom of expression, calmness, and relaxation while being catered to and receiving a makeover. Tamirah knew that there was no better way to transform, vent, & get it all out than doing so over desserts.

The Beaute Bakery, LLC is an outward expression of Tamirah's experiences with clients and how it blossomed into great friendships. It's almost as they're extended family as opposed to clients. She creates a special bond with her clients. They laugh, cry, and have great conversations. Tamirah listens patiently to her client's needs and works hard keeping their overall well being. She values clients and leaves no stones upturned for satisfying them.
