Thank you, Jerry. We had a great time. Thanks for letting us share our music with you.
The Bill Emery Band played for our Fall Fest/ Octoberfest. They were great to work with, including some last minute changes due to weather, and of course they sounded great. Very engaging with the crowd.

Response from The Bill Emery Band:
Thank you, Andschanda, for your kind words and the opportunity to bring our entertainment to the Fall Fest/Octoberfest. It was especially fun to see all the young “trick or treaters” on the dance floor enjoying the music with their parents. You and your team were great to work with and I hope the next opportunity will be soon.
Bill & his band played 40s Big Band tunes, rock, and country for our 50th anniversary celebration. They were great, professional, and easy to work with. Bill is very accommodating.

Thank you, Pat. It was a pleasure to be part of your 50th anniversary party. Congratulations to both you and Dal!
All musicians were talented and passionate about their craft. They played variety of instruments and their music was filled with energy and joy. Band`s performance was engaging, and they kept the crowd dancing and clapping along throughout the show. They had a great stage presence and interacted with the audience, which created a fun and lively atmosphere. What impressed me about this band was their ability to blend variety of elements and incorporate different genres which added unique twist to their sound.
Overall, I would recommend Bill Emery Band to anyone who loves music, dancing, and having a good time. Their performance was entertaining, and their music was infectious.

We have been trusting and relying on The Bill Emery Band for our musical needs and enjoyment since 2006. Bill has brought talent, attention to detail, value and most important, wonderful music to elevate the experience for every event. From a big band look and sound for a 1940s party to emulating Bavaria for an Oktoberfest party, hiring the Bill Emery Band will be one of the best decisions you can make.

The Bill Emery Band has provided outstanding entertainment for our yearly event for a number of years now. Can’t imagine we could hold it without them! The dance floor is constantly in use and those with some ballroom experience are in heaven. They have an extensive repertoire and know how to engage and keep their audience fully entertained.

About
Bill Emery has been playing music since being a kid in the Minneapolis Minnesota area Before he was out of high school he was playing professionally with a dixieland band in St. Paul and a polka band in New Ulm, Minnesota.
True to his Minnesota roots, Bill started on accordion and then played tuba through his high school years, adding trombone after being inspired at a concert by Stan Kenton. He later attended the Stan Kenton Jazz Workshop in Springfield, Missouri and had his first composition played by the Kenton Orchestra.
At age 21, Bill traveled with the John Stafford Big Band Sound and attended the University of Texas at Dallas and Cedar Valley College (Lancaster, TX) attaining degrees in Music Performance, Commercial Music, and Music Education. He has led his own groups since 1978 playing big band music and small group jazz.
After arriving in Colorado Springs he formed the New Century Big Band as a community-focused group. He led this band until taking a “semi-retirement" to return to school to recareer in healthcare and worked as a RN in the stroke unit at a local hospital. The Covid pandemic was responsible for Bill retiring from nursing and his focus is now entirely on music performing and songwriting.
In addition to leading his own group, the Bill Emery Band (with 4-16 players), playing in the Bare Bones Trombone Choir, Bill is a founding member of PB&J (with Jim Robertson and Pam Steinberg). He released a jazz quintet CD in 2019 titled “It Is What It Is: Songs for my Father and other Jazz” and released an album of original songs "Stompin' For Gas: The Music of Bill Emery, Vol. 1" in Spring, 2023.
Additional Booking Notes
