The Billy Hedrick Band

The Billy Hedrick Band consists of Lead Guitarist, Kevin Robinson, many consider to be the artist with the best "chops" around and he has been wowing audience for the last 25 years! Our Saxophone, Flute, Harmonica, Clarinet and Guitar artist, Stanley Rouse, has credentials that place him as one of the best musicians in both the USA and Europe. Stanley is from Birmingham UK and has performed extensively in both areas and exemplifies talent! Our Keyboardist is Jeff Hoffman and has a strong reputation as a master of the "ivories" in the Southwest and Mid-Atlantic playing with too many groups to name and conducting a local area "Jam" session that attracts many patrons and most of the top musicians that the local music scene listens to. Marc Lee is our percussionist and have a long and distinguished career backing up anyone who is anyone in the area. Jessie Powers is our Bassist and has 30 plus years as the US Army renowned Jazz Band as well as an impressive history backing up many top level recording artist. I am the lead vocalist and front man for the group! I have been performing since 1965 and have played the Myrtle Beach music scene with many of the top "Beach Music" groups since that great time when music was "real". After starting with the top group in the VA, NC and SC area, "The Fabulous Fenders" I have traveled with some of the top recording artist from the 60's, 70's and 80's, finally landing in the Baltimore/DC area and starting the band performing as a group of guys that wanted to stay closer to home and do what we love, "PLAY"! I currently have many of my songs listed on several mass media music sites and many are on top of the respective play charts and statistics on my plays by my fans listed below:

As you can see my band and I have had much success and would love to entertain you and your ,guests. We have played a ton of weddings through the years and can offer the extras that you would ,not get from other groups! We can act as the MC for the event and do the announcements of the Couple for the first time to the public after the presentation of al important guests like the parents, relatives and Wedding Party, and then all of the pre-arranged dances for the first dance, Bride/Father, Mom/Son, Maid of Honor/Best man etc.
We play any genre of music but we have a special proclivity for what we call "feel good" R&R, Soul, Jazz, and "oldies" insuring we reach all aspects of your guests and there generations!
We are currently booked for 18 of the 23 weekends between May and October and yours is currently booked for a Wedding in Red Lion PA and would be extremely interested in yours!

I started my love of performing while I was in elementary school when I was selected to sing in a production of a musical performance in a local theater production of Oklahoma. After that I started to learn to play the guitar and haven't stopped since then! I moved up to joining my Church Choir and playing with local bands through my high school years and continued that until I got married and finished college. As time passed and I started my career in the ,health care business becoming a Hospital Equipment Manufacturer's Rep, all the time still performing in many different local bands and becoming a regular member of a Christian Contemporary group and playing for many Church related functions. I finally decided to form my own Classic Rock Band, The Billy Hedrick Band, and devoting more of my time elevating the group into a band with a very good reputation for performing in special events like wedding, festival, anniversaries, birthdays etc. My main emphasis is and has always been to try and be a blessing to others with my music and outlook on life! My favorite saying is simply this, "everyday is a good day! If you don't believe me, just miss one" This sums up my ultimate goal in life, and that is to know that my greatest accomplishment will be that I might be a blessing to others!

We only require an appropriate place to set up our gear and the ability to have adequate opportunity to have some refreshment during our breaks for the show we provide. We have our on sound engineer and a PA system unequaled by most groups as we have performed in settings as large as Stadiums and as small as intimate rooms in places like Hotels, Clubs, and private homes! As I am in a wheelchair, it helps to have handicapped bathroom facilities should the need require! You can expect our total support in helping to make your particular event perfect for the occasion! I have performed as the Emcee for many Weddings, Anniversaries etc and know how to help with providing the extra touches to these events that allow for your guest's and customers to become an important PARTS OF THE EVENT! While we do not, usually, allow on stage performances from the crowd, we are flexible with regard to the client's wishes. The one thing we strive for is interaction with our fans and the ability to gauge the crowd and perform what makes them want to get up and DANCE and enjoy the event and make them all say "Wow, that band was great"
