The Black Tie Affair Band is a professional cover band playing a wide variety of dance, rock, disco, funk, r&b, top 40, Motown, and oldies from the 60's, 70's, 80', 90's, and 2000's covering music for all ages and musical tastes. The Black Tie Affair Band comprises a group of very seasoned, high energy, fun, top Phoenix professional musicians providing musical entertainment for weddings, corporate functions, festivals, private parties upscale events and much more.

The Black Tie Affair lineup includes a list of some of the premiere and respected gigging musicians in the Phoenix area and who average almost 30 + years per instrument of onstage experience performing for crowds of all types and sizes in all types of venues. Collectively TBTA possesses over 150 years of combined musical entertainment experience as a group and we bring that musical experience and knowledge to your celebration ready to make a very memorable event!

TBTA has for you an available set list of over 400 songs but if you have a special request that is not on the list let us know and we will make every attempt to learn the song for your special occasion!
We also have a unique "Pick 30" - You pick 30 songs from our set list and we'll play at least songs that you picked so you get to call the songs and hear what you like us to play for you!!

We supply and bring the sound system, lights and instruments for a professional set up. We do need to set up where we have reasonable access to power outlets.

We play with anywhere from usually 5 to 6 and sometimes depending on the gig, venue size, music we expect to play we may bring as many as 7 or 8 and we'll let you know when we book or before we play the gig and it does not affect the original price quoted. We may also from time to time add a few additional musicians to cover more of the instrumentation for specific songs and genres.
