The Blankenship Family

I started singing at the early age of two. I started traveling with my family the Blankenships shortly after that. My mother often prayed for a gospel group to sing with but she never knew that God was building one around her with her family. We traveled and sang gospel music for near 17 1/2 years and were blessed to be nominated and received the Favorite Mixed Gospel Group of 2004 from the MCGS in Nashville. Since then there have been a lot of changes in our family, with my younger brother going off to college and my father not being in really good health our singing has slowed down as a group but I have continued to sing and travel and tell people about Jesus. I am now blessed with a beautiful four year old daughter Kaitlyn that is singing and traveling with me telling people of Jesus. I could not ask for more. I often heard my mother say that she was extremely blessed by singing with her family and now I am blessed to know that same feeling. My wife and I were blessed with a newborn May 3, 2011 named Jacob and hopefully I will be blessed to sing with him once he gets older. We would love the opportunity to minister to your church.
