The Blind Owlz are a four piece classic rock cover band, playing ROCK YOU LOVE by BANDS YOU LOVE! We play tunes from the 60's-80's, focusing on deep cuts and popular dance tunes that other bands don't (or can't) cover. This group of professionals can provide everything from sound and lights to power generators, and can rock your event and play any venue with pro gear and pro attitudes. With an extensive song list from great bands: the Allman Brothers to The Who, Bad Company to Foreigner, The Beatles to Cream, Black Sabbath to Deep Purple, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Queen, Rare Earth... the list goes on and the ROCK YOU LOVE goes on longer!

The Blind Owlz are experienced professional musicians, with pro gear and pro attitudes. We have been performing for almost 10 years together, and as individuals, for decades in other bands prior to this project.
We play classic rock and roll from the sixties and seventies (occasionally an eighties tune slips in there), including hits you remember from the radio and deep cuts that you only heard on the albums. We say that the Blind Owlz play ROCK YOU LOVE because we hear it from our fans, new and old, all the time- "That was AWESOME, I NEVER hear bands play that! I LOVE THAT TUNE!"
We are positive and fun, respectful, energetic, goofy, fun to watch and easy to listen to, with all members showing their unique and talented personalities onstage. As a band we get along very well, and our rehearsals and shows are fun and entertaining.
Our demographic is young and old, musicians and folks who like to listen to great tunes, and anybody who loves to dance! We are interactive with our audiences, and really enjoy sharing our passion for the music of the greatest era for rock and roll.
ROCK YOU LOVE!!! WE LOVE to play TUNES YOU LOVE to hear by BANDS YOU LOVE!
Blind Owlz = Classic Rock & Roll just the way you remember it.
The Blind Owlz Classic Rock & Roll Band formed in 2013 with the original core members: Kenny Lawrence – Electric Guitar and vocals, David Batchelder – Keyboards and vocals, and Thomas Stoppenbach – Electric Bass Guitar and vocals. The Blind Owlz have been keeping it real with an authentic feel ever since!
With the addition of the ALWAYS exciting Brian Cramer rocking Drums & Vocals, the band follows its vision to provide the best quality performances of Classic Rock & Roll tunes. We LOVE music from the best of times, ready to play for YOUR best times!
It has always been a goal of the Blind Owlz to select songs that other bands in town don’t play, and while we’re at it, we may as well select songs that are more challenging to play! We are ALWAYS adding new classic material to our repertoire from ALL rock genres- Classic, Hard and Heavy, Progressive and Pop, Yacht and British and Southern Rock- Songs You Love to Listen and Dance to, Songs WE LOVE TO PLAY!
The Blind Owlz have played throughout the Valley and around AZ for the last few years, including:
Bike Week shows at Arrowhead Harley Davidson in Peoria, including our first post-Rona show on 10/10/2020;
The Chandler Ostrich Festival, one of our favorite festival venues;
The Arizona State Fair in 2015 and 2022;
Every November the band plays at the PHX 10K Marathon, and is available for other charity bookings (on a limited basis);
Corporate and private engagements, class reunions, holiday and neighborhood block parties all across the state;
Venues outside the valley like the Speedway in Maricopa and Bugles in Forest Lakes;
And of course, we play various clubs and sports bars in the Phoenix Area including Dillon’s on Lake Pleasant, Dillon’s Arrowhead, State 48 Rock House in (almost) Anthem, The Steel Horse Saloon in Phoenix, Kimmy’z on Greenway, Good Time Charli’s in Chandler, What The Hell in Mesa, Arlie’s in Tempe, and the Tap House in Fountain Hills...
AND WE’LL PLAY FOR YOUR GUESTS, TOO!!!
We are a self sufficient show with our own equipment, but can certainly use your lighting and sound equipment if available or you prefer. Power- need at least 3- 15 amp circuits available if we are providing lights and sound from your power source. Staging- Your stage will be our stage for the evening. Please make sure we have enough room for 4-6 musicians plus amps, etc. We are just fine working the floor of your venue, but we will need an area about 10x15 minimum. We bring our own sound tech to most venues, especially if over 50 people attending the show.
