Program’s Closing Comments:
Kimberly Carnevale’s closing comments review and solidify the motivational messages set forth throughout her program. Her insightful observations that can only come from someone who's nearly lost their life and scratched and clawed their way back on top again.
Kimberly is a former professional equestrian who was working towards her dream of obtaining a spot on the United States Equestrian Team in the illustrious sport of show jumping. A devastating accident in 1998 left her permanently disabled with a traumatic brain injury. She was forced to relearn what most take for granted, such as reading, writing, walking and talking.
Kimberly faced many seemingly insurmountable obstacles since then, and she utilized her athlete training and "Champion-Building" skills to overcome them all.
Through personal stories, incredible K9 partners and insightful observations, she shares how she utilized adversity in order to create success; and shares the tools with her audiences so they can become Champions in education, business…and in life.
Kimberly perceptibly demonstrates how the implementation of these strategies can be applied in any setting, ultimately unveiling the “Champion” that lies within us all. These strategies are derived from both neurolinguistic principals and sports psychology techniques proven to enhance self-motivation.
Applying these principals empowers the audience member with the ability to clearly define and focus on personal strengths, set (and attain) short and long term goals, boost self-esteem and eliminate ineffective self-talk and ideologies.
Audiences will learn how to effectively overcome potential environmental barriers in order to maintain goal-oriented focus and forward progression of personal growth and attainment of short and long term objectives.
