The Chapman Brothers were amazing. They are very talented and offered a great variety of music. They had smiles on their faces the whole night and were extremely polite, nice and gracious. Communication was top notch. We had many friends ask for their contact info for future events. If you are looking for a steel drum band, don’t think twice — book these guys!

These sweet young men were not only incredibly talented, but also very laid-back. Their go-with-the-flow attitudes made them very easy to work with. Their music was fun & enjoyable and they even learned some songs we had requested just days before the party! Highly recommend this duo for any cocktail / dinner hour.

The Chapman Brothers played beautifully and made my Dad‘s 83rd birthday extra special! They both immediately addressed my Dad upon arrival and wished him a Happy Birthday. My only wish was that more recognizable songs would have been played from the list I provided ahead of time, but when I reminded them of the most important song (The Star Spangled Banner) they played it beautifully ❤️We will welcome them back soon!!! I hired these young men to play at my daughters wedding and all I could think about was how I wished they were around for mine. They was of course on time, top notch mannerisms, and the music was beyond what I even thought capable for young men like them! I have already asked them to play at our family reunion this summer after the covid restrictions seem to lift.

What to Expect
We are a two-man band that are able to perform virtually any genre requested of us. We have a plethora of experience in gigs ranging from background music to headlining a concert. Our unique blend of steel pan and piano is an experience that always blows our audiences away!
About
Terrell Andre Chapman was born on October 3rd, 1993, in Brooklyn, New York. His father, Terrence Chapman, noticed that Terrell had a natural ear for music at a fairly young age. He then proceeded to enroll Terrell in piano lessons, and for Terrell, it was surely love at first sight. Terrell has a wide variety of musical influences; the main genres being Neo-Soul/R&B, Calypso, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and of course, Gospel. In regards to the Chapman Brothers, he is the musical genius behind the group, and also controls the involvement of social media.
Joseph Benjamin Chapman, who often goes by the nickname “JB”, was born on April 24, 1995. His father, Terrence Chapman, introduced him to the steel pan, an instrument that originated from the island of Trinidad and Tobago. He passed off his knowledge of the instrument to Joseph, and Joseph proved himself to be a natural by the age of six as well. In regards to the Chapman Brothers, he plays the roles of engineer, playing the steel pan, and is the primary contact for the group.
