Mary’s coaching and techniques took me from being an industry speaker where I spoke about mostly technology, to being a speaker who can command an audience and receive a standing ovation. I would recommend Mary highly to anyone who needs to make a great impression an become a powerful speaker on stage , and in life.”
Mark Kelly, Astronaut, and Husband of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords
I have been fortunate to be on television and Radio in countless interviews over the years. Mary's being, her energy, and excitement made it so fun for me to be on her show. She prepares ahead of time and is very knowledgable about her guests and their causes. Plus she uses her own stories to really bring points home. The 2 primary definitions of a champion are: "One who wins a contest or an event." & "One who defends a person, charity or a cause". Mary's show uniquely celebrates champions for being champions in both of these definitions. In a world where the news highlights too many anti heroes for doing ill will acts, Mary's program is a 'do good, feel good' polar opposite. We get to hear about great people doing great things for other people. Her show is: Inspiration, purpose, excitement, and celebrating champions for being champions. I wish there were more shows like hers."

I just want you to know that I thought Mary was soooo good. She really has energy, can “walk and talk at the same time” and is a pleasure to work with. In the sea of guests that aren’t, she is a refreshing change! Please pass on my delight of working with her on for me.

I have thankfully worked with Mary Gardner for a period of about 6 months. She is a tremendous inspirational force who contributes her positive energy to her clients. Over that time, she helped me understand how to read people better, helped me to improve my interpersonal skills and public speaking. She helped me create a strategy to help increase my business which has steadily grown by several hundred thousand dollars. I would definitely recommend Mary to anyone who wants to improve their personal and business skills!

Your skills, techniques and overall presence created a magnificent forum for all of those attending the seminar. The attendees searched deep within themselves to create possibilities for the future that were untapped before your seminar. You transformed the mindset from the predictable way of being from the past to the exciting world of possibilities in the future.

I want to thank you, Mary, for making me look at the way in which I was doing my job. I looked and decided that it was time for a change, a change in the way that I present information and in the way that I present myself. You are truly a remarkable speaker. I feel that anyone can learn something about public speaking from taking or even just attending one of your classes or lectures.
Ken Hartman, Benefits Education, State of NJ
I am writing to express my deepest appreciation for your course, “Secrets to Developing Charisma and an Outstanding Personality”. In particular, I would like to bring special attention to the care you gave to the participants. Even though the seminar was packed, your meticulous and compassionate attention to each person in that room left no stone unturned.
Deloria Ruyle, The Institute for Urban Family Health
Thank you for giving me your pep-talk which built my self-confidence enough to make this leap in my career. You are a great role model!
Again, I hope this email finds you well - it was great meeting with you.

I did catch your spot on CH 11 this morning! Since I didn't know what your topic was, when they started in with baby showers, I thought they were off the schedule. But - then, there you were! Now I understand your comments regarding your luggage! I skimmed your blog, and it seems you do lug this stuff along with you, rather than ship it ahead or pick it up locally. Mercy!
I can see your coaching skills at work. It's a little bit of a switch to see the guest putting the reporter at ease!

I was a celebrity lecture agent for many years and got to see the best of the best. I also have coached many celebrities and executives so I always learn from my clients.
For instance:
Mark Kelly told me - it's never too late to succeed.. and that you can change your life any time. There are many roads to success. Gabby was always a success.. and he was a hoodlum, and changed his life to become dedicated!
Martina Navratilova shared with me, that you must pursue Excellence, and not Perfection. You'll never be perfect. But if you PRACTICE EXCELLENCE every day, when the time comes to really show your stuff.. you will be EXCELLENT!
Mark Schultz, the US Olympic Wrestler for which the movie FOXCATCHER highlights, studied How to get over FEAR. He said you have to STAY in the moment and ask yourself: what do I need NOW? What do I need NOW? When the time comes that you need to beat your opponent, you are ready because the past is the past and you only have that second to perform. That eliminates the pain you felt 2 seconds ago. Simply BRILLIANT!
There are so many others. I love learning from the people I coach!
