The Charlie Webb Trio is a 3 piece live music combo based in Toronto Canada who play an entertaining selection of popular music suitable for parties, dining, receptions and all kinds of events.
The band features the incredible Charlie Webb on lead vocals, Gary McKague on piano and keyboards and David Bartlett on stand-up and electric bass.
CW3 plays a unique set of covers ranging from jazz standards to contemporary rock and pop. The music ranges from intimate and smokey standards to up-beat contemporary numbers that will get any audience tapping toes and singing along.
The Charlie Webb Trio performed during our wedding cocktail hour, and we couldn’t have been happier with their service. Their communication was great—they promptly and helpfully addressed all my questions and concerns. They even learned new songs specifically for our wedding and let us customize the setlist!
For our first dance, they went above and beyond by recording the song for us, providing details on the tempo and timing so we could practice beforehand. On the day of the wedding, their performance was fantastic, and they graciously extended their playing time due to the late arrival of appetizers.
They arrived early to set up, ensuring everything was perfect, and packed up efficiently when the event concluded. I can’t recommend the Charlie Webb Trio enough—they are not only incredibly talented but also kind and accommodating. They helped make our unforgettable!

The Charlie Webb Trio is a 3 piece live band that features the lovely and talented Charlie Webb on Lead vocals. The backing music comes from Gary on Piano and Keyboards, and David playing Electric and Standup Bass. Many of our songs include custom programmed backing drums from a great sounding drum machines.
Our trio plays a variety of well know jazz and pop cover tunes that is very well suited for dining, receptions and cocktail parties and engagements. We also play a number of pubs, restaurants (fine and casual dining) and even special stage presentations including festivals, fairs and gatherings. Last but not least, we play regularly at private clubs and venues for a variety of special and regular occasions.

CW3 is fully equipped for most live music presentations with high quality equipment and a full professional digital PA system with plenty of power for most venues and engagements.
Stage lighting can be provided on request but is generally not utilized.
Technical requirements include dedicated reliable power source and a clean dry space for our band setup. We generally prefer indoor performances, but often play outdoors as long as a suitable space is provided with cover from the sun and elements.
