Best known for his uplifting, dynamic and energetic style on the air, Radio & TV Personality, Emcee & Host, Jamal Bates is destined for greatness. Born and raised in Columbia, SC, this 2004 Teen to Watch, nominee for the 2009 “Rhythm of Gospel Radio Announcer of the Year” and Youth Minister of Little Zion Baptist Church is a rising tycoon in his industry. Jamal was the former co-host of “Rejoice” on KISS 103.1 FM, Jamal has defined his 9 year career in radio and television by thinking outside the box by staying connected of his true calling by winning souls in the kingdom. Jamal current host of Saturday Night Inspirations on WFMV Gospel 95.3 in Columbia, SC. He has also hosted Saturday Inspirations, which aired on Columbia’s WACH FOX 57, which is a TV spinoff of his own radio show, “The Jamal Bates Show”. During the “Saturday Inspirations” he would interview local artists for media exposure and community outreach. When he isn’t on the radio in South Carolina, you can catch him every Monday on Blog Talk Radio from 11am-12pm eastern during “The Jamal Bates Show”, a weekly online talk show where he interviews news makers, music artists and celebrities. As you can see, Jamal is ready to reach the masses with his gift, his voice. Jamal has had the privilege of sharing the stage introducing & hosting prestigious events of some of Gospel’s music most familiar voices such as Maurette Brown Clark, Wess Morgan, Smokie Norful, Dwayne Woods, Shirley Caesar, The Caravans, just to name a few.
