I have been a working musician for over 10 years and have led bands for about half of that. I hold an undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, and a master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. I can book a group as small as a trio and as large as an octet. I also have experience playing in country bands, variety show bands, and wedding bands so whatever you need at your event, I will happily supply it!

Hiring my group means hiring only the best. When I am the band leader, we are starting right on time with very limited chatter between tunes. When I am given an itinerary, we can follow it to a "t" with the ability to be flexible. The music during the service will also never linger and can be either the center of attention of a nice backdrop.
Chris Peters is an educator and working musician from Tulsa, OK, currently residing in Fayetteville, AR. He began playing music at a young age with piano but eventually found his calling on the drum set. While he has primarily made a name for himself as a jazz drummer, Chris has performed with many artists ranging from jazz to heavy metal to country to musical theater. During his career, he has been able to perform with many different ensembles ranging from a duo to a full orchestra. Chris holds an undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies from Northeastern State University and a master's in Jazz Performance from the University of Northern Colorado.
No technical requirements necessary. We will be mainly acoustic and will bring sound as needed. If I need a singer, I will have them bring a PA.
We will play songs from the Great American Songbook as well as jazz standards and different pop tunes. We can perform requests if they are given before the event.
My influences span a wide range including jazz artists like Miles Davis and Jim Hall, funk artists like the Meters and Tower of Power, soul artists like Bill Withers and Donny Hathaway, and R&B artists like Stevie Wonder and Roberta Flack, and rock bands like the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
