Book The Comedy Project
The Comedy Project (TCP) is an independent, professional improv team based in Pocatello, Idaho. Since 2000, TCP’s mission has been to bring laughter and sunshine to the frozen lands of Idaho.
TCP specializes in corporate performances! No entertainment group is more flexible, and every show can be customized to any group, event and goals. TCP creates entertainment around people and their ideas. We use suggestions and audience volunteers (if willing)! Plus, we understand the difference between a small tight-knit team and a national conference full of good people who haven’t met. How much ice needs to be broken? We’ll take care of it!
The Comedy Project customization can include any theme or specific game requests. We use short form games, akin to the “Whose Line is It Anyway?” and longer forms including Murder Mystery, Choose Your Own Adventure, or Secret History shows. Performance ratings range from PG to PG-13 to R in style. The troupe members have performed in sketches, videos, commercials, and other pre-planned comedy, in addition to our specialty: high-energy improv comedy that is performed artfully and pleases every audience.
What is improv?
Improvised theatre is a live stage performance where all of the action and dialogue are made up on the spot. A single word suggestion from the audience inspires the performer to create an entire world. And if there are willing audience volunteers, TCP will gladly incorporate them into the show. If you like “Whose Line is it Anyway?” or Second City, you’ll love TCP!
Over the years, the group has won multiple awards including the 2014 Boise Improv Cage Match, attended many festivals and workshops, and sought out comedy wherever and whenever they can. For over ten years, TCP has produced a high-quality improvised show on a weekly basis. The troupe continually works on improving its techniques and creating new games. Booking TCP would make any event memorable.
