Overview
The Current is an award-winning Contemporary A Cappella League (CAL) group, whose 18 members span a diverse array of day jobs, ages, and other demographics. Since 2011, we've headlined sold-out shows at Rockwood Music Hall, littlefield, The Bitter End, and The Triad; brought the house down at private and corporate events from Macy*s to the UN; belted it out on PBS and behind Aretha Franklin; and raised spirits in hospitals, at holidays, and as a happy addition to celebrations of all kinds – whether singing you down the aisle, flash-mobbing your special someone, or collaborating on your vision for another kind of aca-mazingness. We look forward to bringing extra fun and harmony to your event!

I have seen The Current NYC perform a few times and they never disappoint. Upbeat, fun and full of talent. The group members seem to truly like one another and that energy feeds their performance. A nice rotation of songs with new selections introduced frequently and different singers showcased throughout the concert. The group has a loyal following and it's easy to see why!

The Current was the highlight of our wedding! Our guests are still talking about their performances at our ceremony. They made our ceremony so special and unique!
